An '0x ...' Error Message Displays on the Front Panel When Printing

Issue
The product displays a '0x ... ' error message. The exact text of the error varies by product, but it is usually preceded by the word 'Error .'
Important: If your error message includes the words 'ink system failure ,' check your cartridges before reading this document. If you use any of the following cartridges, refer instead to 'Ink System Failure' Message Displays on the Control Panel (c01458034) (in English) to solve this error:


Solution one: Reset the product

1.
Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product.
NOTE: The USB cable connects to the port on the back of the product. The port is labeled with the USB icon
Figure 2: Example USB connection (your product might not look exactly the same as this example)
Description of disconnecting the USB cable.
2.
Remove the cartridges from the product.
3.
Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges ' message to display on the control panel.
4.
Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
5.
Wait 60 seconds.
6.
Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button
7.
Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
8.
If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
9.
Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again.

Solution two: Service the product
If you have completed all the preceding steps and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.
Determine if your product is in warranty or out of warranty. If you need help determining your product's warranty status, go to HP's Warranty Check Tool .

Ink System Failure Error:0xc18a0107


Hello,

The "Ink System Failure" error is causes by air in the ink feed tubes. We have a step by step guide purging the air from the feed tubes posted on our web site. YO TUVE EL MISMO PROBLEMA CON MI IMPRESORA HP PHOTOSMART C7180 ALL IN ONE ,,,,Y LO QUE HICE FUE LO SIGUIENTE:

1.-ESTANDO ENCENDIDA LA IMPRESORA, DESCONECTE EL CABLE POSTERIOR(EL DE ATRAS DE LA IMPRESORA)
2.-PRESIONE LA TECLA DE "OK" Y "AYUDA" AL MISMO TIEMPO COMO UN MINUTO
3.-VOLVI A CONECTAR EL CABLE POSTERIOR
4.- LUEGO PRENDI LA IMPRESORA
5.- CAPTURE LOS DATOS QUE ME PEDIA, POR EJEMPLO: IDIOMA ESPAñOL, PAIS MEXICO, ETC.
6.- Y EMPEZO A TRABAJAR CORRECTAMENTE

that was a system error...
How long since that problem occurs..??

I suggest that you need to load another compatible firmware on that printer ...

Hi how about trying I found this I know your error not in here but it may work for It worth a try nothing to lose and it may work. I know your error code is not in this but it some times it clean the error with this type of error number you can gave it a go try not harm it Error code: 0xc18a0201, 0xc18a0206, 0xc18a0306, 0xc18a030a, 0xd0620130, 0x887dd03a, 0xd05d010d, 0xf0af8004, 0xc19ac3ff, 0xc18a050...

Reset the product:
1. Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product.

Error: 0xc18a0107 Printer HP C5180 All in One


I had the same problem for a few days.
Each time, I switched on my HP C5180 printer, the Oxc18a0107 message was displayed.
I tried the solution that I found on the net (power off, power on while holding on OK and HELP keys) unsuccessfully ...
Then I bought new ink cartridges and I put them after resetting the printer.
No more error message ... It works well now.
