You must not be familiar with this unit. it has a12 volt dc motor fior the drive. it has a plugin board for the motor. the cartridge is working. i need to find out where the second black wire goes on the motor board. it has a 4 leged regulator on it (was bad, i replaced) and tere is a speed swich near by. you have to look at the turntable wiring diagram and find a black wire that comes from a speed adjusting pot and it goes to the regulator area. I hope that you understand now of what i need, maybe you can send me a copy off the circuit. model crosley cf 27 cd, frank

  • fgoering Apr 12, 2011

The regulator number is AN6652. You will need a schematic to tell me where the wire that It need a connection for. The board mounted on the motor has the regulator and 4 holes for wires. It also has a speed pot on it. the 5th wire (black)has no place but it needs to be there.

It's not clear enough to me which cable do you mean. If you have a turntable, there must be a cable with 2 RCA jacks, like this model cr 27cd ther eeis - technical114_43.jpg and one more cable (single pole) with no special connector at the end. If you have a cd player, the only connectors has to be the RCA ones, no extra cable. Please clarify me which case is yours in order to provide you further details.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I thought that your problem was at the audio output connectors of the turntable. Please give me any details available for the regulator IC (with the 4 leads) in order to help you.

Waiting clarification, don't hesitate to post.

    Thanks and regards

Here are some details for the IC:
    Pinout

TAke a closer look at the typical application circuit. I suggest that the black cable you're talking about is the connection between the Rs potentiometer and the the pin number 2 of the IC. So all you have to do is to connect this cable at the pin #2.

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed or a direct link for IC's application details, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.
If you are satisfied, accept my solution.

Is there a way to install a aux input on a crosley cr-9 juke box radio? Thanks

You would have to break into the cassette player's audio output section. By finding where the audio joins the main amp of the unit. You couldn't do it via the record input section as that uses a different pre-amp which would not be compatible with CD. Once you find the point where the cassette audio joins the pre-amp section of the main amp, you should be able to take a link, from a pair of phono sockets that you will have to mount somewhere on the unit. If you don't use the cassette anymore than you can disconnect it. If you do want to use the cassette then the best bet is to also install a switch that will switch between the two. You will not be able to have both cassette and CD wires linked to the same pre-amp input. As one will vastly reduce the volume of the other. Which is why you would have to install a switch between the two.

I want to change my own spark plug's

Instructions
    • Locate the spark plug cables along the top or the sides of the engine, depending on CR-V model. Once the engine cools, use the trim panel tool to twist the spark plug wire at the wire's boot, which is the larger rubber portion located on top of the spark plug.
    • 2Pull back on the spark plug wire to remove it from the spark plug.

    • Place the socket on top of the spark plug and turn it counter-clockwise to unscrew and remove the spark plug from the well.
    • 4Rub anti-seize lubricant onto the new spark plug threads and on the tip of the spark plug.
    • 5Insert the new spark plug into the well. Manually turn the plug clockwise to thread the spark plug into place.
    • 6Test the tension on the plug with the tension testing tool. Adjust the tension as needed. Honda CR-V spark plugs generally need a tension between 10 and 15 foot pounds. The spark plug's packaging indicates its suggested tension.
    • 7Replace the spark plug wire, turn it from side to side and lock it into place. Continue the process with the rest of the spark plugs one at a time until all of the spark plugs are replaced.

Hi, it's possible the bulb is burned out or not making good contact with the circuit board. It should come on during the bulb check when you first turn the key on. Pull out the cluster and check the bulb. If it's good, see if you can clean the contact surfaces to get it working again. Or, move to another state where they don't worry about stupid things like a light bulb.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2. Remove the two steering column shroud-to-panel retaining screws and remove the shroud.
  3. Remove the lower instrument panel trim.
  4. Remove the cluster trim cover from the instrument panel by removing the eight screws.
  5. Remove the four instrument cluster to panel retaining screws.
  6. Position the cluster slightly away from the panel for access to the back of the cluster to disconnect the speedometer.

If there is not sufficient access to disengage the speedometer cable from the speedometer, it may be necessary to remove the speedometer cable at the transmission and pull cable through cowl, to allow room to reach the speedometer quick disconnect.
  1. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the printed circuit, and any bulb-and-socket assemblies from the wiring harness to the cluster assembly and remove the cluster assembly from the instrument panel.

To install:
  1. Apply approximately 1 / 8 in. diameter ball of D7AZ-19A331-A Silicone Dielectric compound or equivalent in the drive hole of the speedometer head.
  2. Position the cluster near its opening in the instrument panel.
  3. Connect the wiring harness connector to the printed circuit, and any bulb-and-socket assemblies from the wiring harness to the cluster assembly.
  4. Position the cluster to the instrument panel and install the four cluster to panel retaining screws.
  5. Install the panel trim covers and the steering column shroud.
  6. Connect the battery ground cable.
  7. Check operation of all gauges, lamps and signals.

Only get black and white picture using vcr/dvd why picture

Hi There,

The most likely reason for this is that your connections between the DVD player are incorrect. This usually happens when a Composite cable is connected to one the Component input sockets on the back of the TV.

If you are are using a composite cable (red, white, yellow plugs), please make sure the yellow plug is not connected to a socket labelled Y, Pb/Cb, or Pr/Cr on the back of the TV or the DVD/VCR. The yellow plug needs to be connected to a VIDEO OUT socket on the back of the DVD/VCR and a VIDEO IN socket on the back of the TV.

Do not use sockets labelled Y, Pb/Cb, or Pr/Cr on either of them.

If you are unable to determine which sockets to use, please let me know the brand and model number of your VCR/DVD and confirm the model number of your TV is GV42L. I will then be able to draw you a diagram showing the correct connections to use.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
BElectric

The best place to connect the wiring is behind the left trim in the boot, there is a grey socket which has all that you need except the fog which can be located in the wiring loom to the left light unit.
