    Hi,
Sorry, but I can't even get started...
"After you pry out the blue button."... the blue button is solidly in place.
Assuming I can somehow remove it, it will be torn off and not be able to be replaced.
This is because there is no gap between blue button and shaver.
Also, as I can't turn off shaver, should do any work after the battery has run flat?
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks, Sid

    Hi,
I disassembled it, it seemed stuck, so I unstuck it.
But I've to remove blue power switch because there is a black plug beneath, plus other possible damage which may or may not impact. I've reassembled and at least I can turn it off. I'll recharge overnight, and if it doesn't work, I'll take to Shaver Shop and see what they say.
Thanks, I'll sign off with you now

It was helpful in dissembling unit.
But the unit underneath is complex, and unblocking is a bit tricky.

The internal slider which turns the shaver on/off is broken or stuck :--- After you pry out the blue button. In the oval hole where the blue button was fitted you will see a thin metallic part (semi-circular shapes on each side); pull it out through the hole and the switch will be functional. But if its not turning off then its broken. When the shaver is turned on with the main On/Off slider, a spring moves a small slider inside to make contact with two areas on the circuit board. The small internal slider is broke in half, so when the main On/Off slider is moved to the off position, only half of the internal slider moves. The other half with the electrical contacts is staying in place on the circuit board, allowing the shaver to still operate. But if its broken then you will have to re-solder this metallic part and it should contact the circuit board to turn on/off.If you are not able to solder it,just get the take the metallic part and shaver to local electronic appliance repair center or at any local tv repair center. They deal will soldering jobs.Just get that metallic part to its exact position. So it functions properly. You can also try pressing the blue piece so that it falls inside, then use a toothpick in the edge and pull the blue piece out with a thin tweezers. --------- If the front blue button is not coming out, then you can get whole front cover replaced. The part is available.Just click the link below:--- http://buyitnow64.stores.yahoo.net/brshparesyho.html ---------------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

There is another option to turn off this shaver.. By removing the battery inside.

I do suggest that when you open the back cover of the shaver, instead of removing the battery, you can access the button switch from there. Examine to what causes the stuck up.

Procedure below will guide you.
1. Using a small flat screw driver, remove the top cover by frying it off.
2. Simply remove both side of the shaver after to cover is remove.
3. Unscrew 4 screws holding the back cover.
4. The battery is loaded to the circuit board...the top assembly can be remove easily. This will expose the switch that has been stuck.

Hope you find what causing this stuck up. You may replace the switch if this is broken.

The video from this link will help you explain the dis assembly of the shaver

Hello
The power supply board to your tV is faulty. It will be best to repalce the board as card basis, because repair to this board is impossible. the components used in it will be very difficult to get from open electronic spare part market.

You can not use lithium battery in your shaver as the charging system is not compatible. You can purchase compatible batteries for your shaver at shaveroutlet.com. See link below for the item and installation videos

We put this unit on self clean and now it wont turn on nor open.

I had the same problem with a Superba wall oven. In my case, the bracket mount for the door lock warped due to the heat of the self clean cycle. We were able to open the door by inserting a coat hanger into the slight opening at the top of the door and sliding the lock lever to the left. It was a pretty easy self-repair - 1) turn off breaker 2) slide oven out 2-3" 3) remove oven front trim pieces 4) remove screws that mount control panel 5) this should give you access to the door lock mechanism.
good luck

Is there any place to send a shaver to be repaired? My trimmer broke. It works but will slide completely out and then have to push it back in.

If you don't want to attempt to undertake the repair yourself, you can contact Electric Shaver Service in Lincoln, Nebraska.

They sell new shavers and replacement parts, as well as provide a repair service for many brands of shavers and clippers. They can repair your Braun shaver for you.

Just go to their web site at www.electricshaver.com and click on the repair service link and fill out the form and follow their instructions for sending in your shaver. Typically, they can do most repairs in about a week from the time they receive it in their shop.

I use them to get repair parts for my shavers and recommend them to family and friends as a good place for parts (and service).

They also sell new shavers too. Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Repairing electric razor

Questions,
What can be done to eliminate self-starting; slide switches which have become exremely sensitive to the touch and often times turn on when set down after use.
Slide switch covers no longer return to full "off" position. Ive had to use scotch tape to prevent them powering on when placed in suitcase, for example. Is this problem characteristic of Braun razors?
Can a nonprofessional open up casing to administer a very thorough cleaning? And where would one get an instructional schematic? Can one be obtained from Braun?

Thx!! Vince
