If you are using an Internet connection supplied by your school or your employer, then they have the right to block "time-wasting" (also known as "social networking") sites.

In your workplace (or wherever you are located) the Facebook URL is blocked and cannot be viewed there. It is common practice for many employers to block sites such as this and other social networking sites.

If this is their policy then I'm afraid there may not be much you can do.

Cant get on facebook at school

Social Networks are banned from public school computers. However, there are sites that can bypass these blocks. One site is "Unblock Jesus." Type "unblockjesus.com" in the url bar and search "facebook" on the search bar on the site page. It will bypass the block.

Howto get on facebook at school

The school is blocking the domain via firewall. You should try to get a smartphone with browser (like iPhone) and as long as you 're not using the Wifi, you should be able to get to Facebook.
