Scooter is making a clicking sound while jerking forward in short bursts. It seems like it's sticking then catches and jerks forward. What could be causing this? I am just trying to find info so I can get my son to work on it for me. Thank you Mary Scott

Why does the chain brake not work?

1. What is the make and model of the saw?
2. Does it make any sound when you push the chainbrake handle towards the front (the bar and chain direction)?
3. The idea, and the way it works is that as the bar and chain get jerked upwards towards your face, your left wrist catches the chainbrake handle and pushes it forward thus engaging the chainbrake.

Are the engine rpms climbing when its jerking forward? seems like it could be a Transmission torque converter problem.

When our new LG washer starts its cycle, the water seems to do quick bursts into the washer making the pipes make a bad noise. Any advice?

The quick burst of water is normal for the LG washing machines, its the way the water valves work. The noise you hear, sounds like the water lines jerking, and hitting against the wall, or the cabinet itself. You may need to get some tape, and tape the lines to the unit itself.

Sticking in and out of gear

Hi. When you say in and out of gear, does it free-wheel or just not drive? The jerking could be caused by faulty motor brushes. Fitting new brushes or getting the motor overhauled would probably fix this.
If you gave a better description of the fault, we might be able to give you a better solution. good luck. Neil.
