Question about LG CHOCOLATE VX8500 Cellular Phone
My LG Chocolate shows a white screen, then changes to my cellphone provider's "screensaver". I can't get past this stage and I've tried taking the battery out and replacing it. Is there any way I could get past this stage to retrieve the cellphone numbers that are stored on the phone?
If your screen changes to white or blank, also if the device turns itself off, the problem is probably the flex cable, You can get one from EBay for a few dollars and instructions on how to replace it are here, http://diymobilerepair.co.uk/LGChocolate.html

Your chocolate has gotten the 'white screen of death' as I like to call it. Take it your service provider. They will be able to give you a replacement as well as recover your contacts! Good luck!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
