Question about Panasonic Advanced Hybrid w/Back-Lit LCD Phone (PANKXT7731W)
Caller ID displays on a regular handset plugged directly on the incoming CO phone line but ID does not display on PT phones hooked to the PBX. Yet, on my second line that is Vonage, Caller ID works fine through the PBX. My provider says there are no settings for their Caller ID. Phone service is via IP fiber connected to a Allied Telesis AT-iMG646BD-ON access device... Help?
Any thoughts on what to try?
Try them in intercom mode. If the flaky unit still does not work, the something along the microphone circuitry is likely dead. If its in warranty, get a replacement from the store or manufacturer.

Based on a user's review of this phone system on Amazon, I unplugged the base station, waited a few seconds and then plugged it back in. Caller ID display and announcement both work fine.
