In my experience, this is often caused by bad memory. To test this, from a working computer, download Memtest 86+ and burn the ISO to a CD with a program like ImgBurn. Then, boot from the Memtest CD. You can try testing one chip at a time to narrow down which one is giving you errors - just remember, if you find one, the other might still be bad, so test it too!
If there is an error, Memtest will display the failing memory address in red. If the tests all complete with no errors, it will repeat the tests from the beginning, however, it will say "Pass complete, press ESC to reboot" or similar on the bottom of the blue testing screen.
Also, this could be caused by a bad power supply. Try using a known good power supply with the board.
As well, make sure that the screws that hold the board to the case (chassis) don't have the non-metallic washers in between them and the board if the hole in the board is metallic. In other words, if the hole has metal that can contact the screw, it NEEDS to have the screw contacting it for a ground. If there is NO METAL on the hole, you can use the non-metallic between the screw and the board.
You may also have a problem with the CPU having an incorrect amount of thermal compound between it and the heatsink - it should be a very very thin coating over the entire surface that you can almost make out what the words on the CPU say.
If it still won't work, the problem could also be caused by malfunctioning components - try removing them and plugging them in one at a time (CD, hard disks, USB devices etc - use known good replacements).
Lastly, the board itself may be defective. See if you can contact the manufacturer for a replacement if it's under warranty. If not, maybe you can find a new one for cheap on ebay (make sure the seller has a high number of ratings and a high percentage (95% plus at least) of them are positive.

This is Asus's download site and it looks like it supports Windows 7. Your info is there just choose o/s. No on board video so you must have a graphics card or eqiuvalent. Sockey 775 Intel p45 and ICH10R chipsets and Realtek ALC1200 audio. Give me the make and model of your video/graphics card and I can help you with that. It very weel could be the graphics causing your problem.

My e machine e525 keeps crashing. Windows 7 is loaded. Please help

If the OS keeps on crashing, it may be due to the issue with the Hard disk. If the system is still under warranty then you can ask them to replace the Hard disk stating that it keeps on crashing.
Or if the machine is old, then you can buy a new hard disk and replace it with the old one...
It should work...!
Plz comment back for any queries...
Cheers... :)

Either the HDD controller is bad or the HDDs you used have bad sectors.HDD regenerator software alot of times will correct the bad sectors and then the OS will install correctly and function smoothly.

Does loading windows operating system solve all computer problems

yes, it certainly does. Loading windows operating system will wipe away all former files on your computer and new once (files) would be installed, thereby, making your computer be like a new one.

This will also make your system run faster and perform better, because the Hard-drive would be free from load. Also all hidden virus will be wiped away.

Therefore, loading windows operating system, mainly solves software problems.

Good luck.

Operating system loading problem on boot up, frequent crashes

Problems like these are terrible to diagnose, and there are thousands of possible problems here - from bad sectors or hardware, to driver and software corruption. BUT, unless your best friend is a geek with lots of time to spare, let me cut to the chase for you.

You can press F8 to choose a logged boot, then review the boot log (C:\bootlog.txt usually), but if you aren't that technical, you may not understand the listings there, or the significance of what is or isn't there.

The best solution is to start fresh. If you can boot to a normal OS, even if it takes you 10 times of trying, do so, then back up all of your precious info to another drive.

Once that's done and you're sure you got it all, use your recovery disk to blow away the hard drive and start from scratch - repartition, reformat, the whole works. It will take some time, and you may have to hunt down some driver updates, but in the end, you'll have a happy, healthy (and fast) PC.

I would try to use the System Restore feature, if you have not already. Choose a date prior to when it crashed on you and it should work.

Hard drive crash, drive defects in the area where the O/S is, or, corrupted O/S files.

Download the hard drive manufacturer's diagnostic software and run it. It will examine your drive and give you an evaluation.

If it tells you the drive is fine, the either a complete reload, or a repair will get you back up and running. Whether you will be able to recover any of your data, will depend on the drive condition.
