Question about Makita 2703 10" Table Saw, Electric Brake
What did the brushes look like before replaced, if they were burnt or pitted then you have a major electrical issue probably. UNPLUG tool and remove the replaced brushes and check them for their condition. Does the blade spin freely? If not you could have a bearing issue or an obstruction. Also how is the power cord, is the insulation broken which can cause an electrical short. These are all possible items that can cause your problem. If this unit has a resetable breaker it could also be the issue. Hope this gives you some idea of where to continue to look
