Have you considered NOT connecting your camera to your computer? The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Nikon Transfer (http://support.nikontech.com/app/answers... ).

Having gone over a month without a response to my query, I assume my suggestion to use a card reader solved the problem.

Kodak c1450 camera won't upload photos to my computer

Hello, Kodak has no control over your cameras' ability to upload your photos to your PC ! Unless you are talking about their online photo storage. If you are having problems transferring your pics to your PC and are using Kodak software try to reinstall the program and see if that works, I don't think your camera is junk.
Best Regards, Russell

How do I download photos (photo files) from Android to my PC?

Usually when you buy a phone an CD disc will be given with that , Once you install the software(PC Suite) from that disc you can see you phone being recognized when you connect it to the computer. It will have options to download or upload the files.

OR

If you have an memory card in your phone you can remove it and connect it to the computer by means of the external card reader and you can download the photo files from the phone memory card to the system.

My SD card won't allow me to upload photos on to

This question comes up several times a day here in the camera section at Fixya. But please note, it's very hard to troubleshoot individual software problems online, and it likely is a software issue.

Please don't take the following as a sales pitch as it's not, but please see this article, as it describes the use of an inexpensive USB card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue.

No software to upload photo's... Help?

Go to Samsungs websight, software should be available for download there, if not, any run of the mill picture software will allow you to upload the images to you're computer, the main thing is to make sure the drivers are in you're computer for that particular camera, if you can't find samsungs websight try googling it, here I found the site you need this will take you directly to you're cameras support page, with all the software and drivers you will need.http://www.samsung.com/us/support/search/supportSearchResultView.do?group=&group_cd=&type=&type_cd=&subtype=&subtype_cd=&model_nm=+S730&dType=D&mType=&model_cd=&menu=download&prd_ia_cd=&disp_nm=+S730&isEqualsY=

be sure all of this is in you're browsers address line. and it will take you directly to the site....

Disc Error

the c:13:01 is the error code. I was researching this same thing on my camera. It 'magically' fixes itself after anywhere from 1 minute (turn off, count to 20 and turn back on)to 1 month later. This time, I lost photo-ops with my kids and their cousins. Apparently, this is a loose connector - see link- and you can fix it by 1) smacking your camera around a little (no joke, this knocks the connector back, for a little while or 2) sending it to Sony for repair (about $350) or 3) follow this guy's suggestions and fix yourself. I haven't lost any actual photos, except the first time when this happened. Since then, I've put the CD in the computer and I've been able to pull off the pics. Can't use the CD again though, even if it's not full. The camera must mark the CD somehow to avoid overlaying photos(?). Anyway, here's the link and good luck :) http://www.pechorin.com/m/2003/07/12/SONY_C1301_ERROR-202719-43.html
