Question about Lexmark X5150 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Whenever I try to print a document it will go to 99% and then stick there.

Hi

Try to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver and set up or add again the printer once more. I believe the printer driver is corrupted and needs to reinstall again.

Whenever i try to print anything my printer prints the first 5 lines or so and then just stops and moves on to the next page where it print the first 5 lines before giving up again.


What type of document are you trying to print(PDF, MS Word doc, etc)?
Is the printer connected via USB cable, Bluetooth?

First thing I would do is try printing a different document or even a different type of document.
If printing different documents results in the same problem then I would uninstall the current drivers, download the latest drivers from Canon, then install those drivers and try printing again.
Also, if the printer is connected to your computer via USB cable verify the cable has no exposed wiring or try a different USB cable.

To automatically duplex, you need the optional duplexing mechanism.
If you don't have this, your only option is to print the odd pages first, put the papers back in the tray, then print the even pages.
When you put the pages back into the paper tray, make sure they are print side up.
Try with a 5 or 6 page document first to be sure you get the orientation right.

If you HAVE the optional duplexing unit (which sticks out the front just above the main paper tray) then post a reply here and I'll try to help you further.
99% of the people that own this unit do NOT have the optional duplexer!

I have a hp photosmart c4280 and whenever i print it says margins are incorrect. how do i set them correctly so i can print documents.


Check the paper size at the printer properties on control panel.
You may be trying to print an A4 document to a printer configured to print on Letter size paper.
The document paper size should match the printer's paper size deffinition.

Check Whether the Black Ink cartridge is placed correctly. Try cleaning the cartridge strip. Check again, if the problem exists, try calling the service provider.

I am trying to solve the same problem. I can get the document to print if I go to Administration tools then Services Locate Printer Spooler and right click, then select Proporties. The spooler dialog box will come up. Near the bottom "click" the Stop button to stop the spooler. Then click the Start button to restart and my documents will print. Just can't figure out why it needs a restart of the services every time a new print document is sent.
