C2 Centurion - won't light

Recently purchased a C2 Centurion. After maybe 45 minutes run time, it was showing signs of battery weakness. Then it just didn't work at all, so I ordered new batteries. I had noticed that the tailpiece button didn't seem to depress but thought that maybe just the new batteries and a light touch was the answer. It wasn't. I think the tailpiece button is jammed somehow and won't depress all the way. Since the light was backordered a month before I got it, and I just waited a couple weeks for new batteries to show up, I'd certainly like to fix the light myself. I just don't want to do anything to void the warranty.

I guess from the manaufacturer or retailers point of view, fixing it yourself would void the warranty as there isn't much you can do without dismantling it more than is necessary to fit batteries.

SOURCE: Weak light

If the charge lite comes on when charging it means your transformer is still good. Replace the battery.

If you get no charge light transformer is bad, if this is the case (personally) i would replace the charger & battery for that peace of mind.

SOURCE: LED Flashlight Battery Drain Problem

This particular flashlight uses a microchip that consumes the power of the batteries, whether in use or not. Loosen the case to where the batteries go in, so there is no contact with polarity. Or just take the batteries out completely and replace them for actual use.

My 2008 X5 has recently stalled a few times when at a stop sign and wont restart for 20-30 minutes. I have narrowed this down to happening ONLY when the AC is running. Any ideas?

This is a long shot, but try this. It may be that your battery is very low on fluid (acid water). The car runs off the battery with the alternator constantly charging it. If it is too low on acid fluid it will not take enough charge. At highway speeds the alternator will put out more amperage and compensate for the weak battery. When the engine is a idle or low RPM the alternator charges less. The AC unit draws current from the battery. AC draw may just enough to overwhelm the weak battery and kill the engine. After the car sits for a little while it is able to crank the engine, partly because the starter, when cool, draws less current. Check the acid/water level in the battery and if adequate, have the battery checked for a dead cell.

Cellnoid trouble

A clicking solenoid usually means that not enough current is flowing to the starter to turn it over. Most commonly, this is caused by a weak or dead battery. However, it can also be caused by corroded battery terminals, which will permit voltage but reduce amperage to the starter.

A much less likely cause for this is that the starter has gone bad; over time, a starter requires more and more electricity to turn over.

The easiest way to troubleshoot this problem is to check your battery. Are the cells full of electrolyte? If not, top them off with distilled water and charge the battery. If the battery looks fine, look at the terminal connections for any signs of corrosion. At this point, you can try to jump start the motorcycle from a known good battery. You can use a car / car battery for this, as long as the car is not running. Trying this with the car running may burn out the motorcycle electrical system.

Good luck! Hopefully, you just have a weak or discharged battery!

The battery of my Dell Latitude D600 is not charging fully. It only runs for 10 minutes when fully charged. Moreover, the battery indicator flashes 4 times red and one time green. Is it the battery problem...

That sounds like a bad battery. Be sure not to leave charger plugged into your computer while not plugged into power or the power switched off. That will really kill your weak battery and then you won't have 10 minutes. You can live okay with a battery like yours but if you ever need to replace ram or do a serious BIOS update the bad battery will not alallow it.

Power locks does not work properly, dome light wont come on, radio code needed everytime i start my car.

When these problems usually occur, your battery is so weak your car won't start. Check your battery, the connections to the battery (anything loose, etc.). Don't forget to disconnect the ground (-) wire first if you decide to removed the battery connections and re-install the ground wire last to prevent risks of shorting the (+) pole of the battery to the chassis if you do it the other way around.

Did the car show any signs of a charging problem (alternator circuit, etc.) ? If not, I would suspect the battery, I've seen it before and yes they can be good, and "die" just like that without showing any signs of fading before failing.

Hope this helps.

2004 Chevy Malibu won't start and shakes when stopped at light

The next time it starts shaking and acting up its the time to have a fuel pressure test, or maybe if you can't remember the last time the fuel filter been chg. do that and see if it dosent run any better. Could be filter getting cloged up, or maybe pump getting weak and dosent show up until its run a while and has got warm.

Casio CE-3700

Usually EO8 means that there has been clerk numbers programmed into the machine and you haven't signed in. To reset the registers just make sure to take all batteries out and keep them unplugged for at least 45 minutes and that will drain all the internal memory from them. Then you can reprogram them the way you want. :)

Battery or charger ?

well...this one is interesting, for certain. You bought a display model, so the chances of it working off battery are mighty slim. Could be that the m/b was running off ac power all the time, and can NOT charge a battery. I'd take it back, and have them show you that it will run on battery, which is considered a fairly important issue with laptops, at least around these parts on Hawaii
