hi, you guys the problem sounds like where you are inserting the two nozzles the clip has snapped this has happened to me before and has happened again you need a star tip screwdriver (4 screws) to take part out (easy to do) but you need to get in touch whith diplomat to get a diagram so you which part it is and to get thje part number. I had this same message last week. It is to do with the water intake (i.e. the water coming in to the back of the machine). If you have checked that the hose isn't trapped or kinked, unscrewed it and checked the filters at each end for blockages (rinse out if necessary), and you still get the F17 message, it may be because your water pressure is too low, in which case you need to contact your landlord (if you rent) or thames water if the problem is external (especially if there are any works going on near your house). Hope this helps!

Check the Water Indicator (WI).
When you think it should be enough water, unplug WI connector from control board and check if on WI connector is closed contact (WI written on the control board housing). If not, try with some more water. And so on. When too much water with no contact on WI, it is the one to be replaced by new one.
NOTE: by every check UNPLUG the machine
