Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
It maybe a loose connection if our laptop uses a graphics card. In which case you would remove some on the covers to expose it and clean the contacts. Then reinstall it.
However the problem may be a bit more serious than that.
Hope its just a bad connection, try plugging a monitor into this laptop. If it works well then it is the laptop screen that is faulty.
