After power on the 3100mfp send :error printer motor and stops if hay shutdown many times gets online finally

You have a defective motor drive (what we call a DEAD SPOT), it needs to be replaced, after cycling power on and off you have the motor turning long enough to fool the sensor to believe it is working (passing the dead spot)

I also have the same problem with my Xerox 3100MFP which in which I have only replaced the toner once since new. Bottom line, printer is not reliable. This was my first Xerox product but I will steer very clear of them in future.

Solutions for : Printer Error Fuser Temp Message There are two configuration options available for this model; the Phaser 3100MFP/X and the Phaser 3100MFP/S. Fax features are only available on the Phaser 3100MFP/X. To determine the configuration of your machine, print a Configuration Page. See the Related Items below for additional information.
Solutions ranked by relevance:
  1. Make Sure the Power Cord is Securely Connected to the Machine and the Electrical Outlet
  2. Make Sure the Machine is Plugged Into a Functional and Stable Power Outlet Test the power outlet that the machine is plugged in to by connecting another device to the outlet. Make sure the outlet is functional and stable. If possible, have the line tested by an electrician. If necessary, plug the machine into another power outlet.
    NOTE: The machine should be plugged directly into the wall outlet, and should not be connected to an extension cord, power strip, or Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
  3. Reset the Fuser Error Solution : Reset the Fuser Error CAUTION: The following solution will put the printer in the Diagnostics mode and is only valid for this problem. I have Phaser 3100MFP/X This printer has 1 problem, problem is "fuse temp error" i cant fix this thing. 3100X is different 3100MPF can you help me to fix. Sorry about my English. Sincerely

"printer error fuser temp" this message comes after powering on the machine. how I can solve or what is the main problem of this error message? The printer is New I just buy it three days ago. please any...


Due to the fact you just got this Printer as new then you should be covered by warranty and the best would be to have someone from Xerox to have a look at it if the message continues.
