Whirlpool TAWX700PQZ Hello, Top load whirlpool washer was full for washing. Noticed flood in the area. Leakage seemed like from bottom. My husband attempted to fix but he could not open it. He left the machine for 2 days side wise on the floor. Can it cause damage?

Washer does not rinse & spindry after getting submerged in water.

everything needs to be checked from the timer control button to the motor, im guessing it agitated through the wash cycle but wont spin now right? your flood could have damaged any number of items... run through ( with the machine unpluged ) and test the components for continuity and/or resistance.

Agitator moving just a little.

If it is a Whirlpool or Kenmore make washer you probably stripped the "dog ears" in the agitator. They give you the duel agitation that makes your clothes cycle from top to bottom of the machine. Should only rin you around $8.00 or so. Hope that helps.

Fabric Softener dispenser

thats quite normal, espessially if you do not use the fabric softener, the compartment empties through an overflow siphon action, so if there eis nothing in the compartment the area is flooded but cannot cause siphon action, not an issue at all

fl is short for flood..possible something has pump impeller blocked ..if you hear a slight hum that is most likely what it is although on 1st generation the pump had a splined shaft that was bad about stripping only solution there was complete change out update version has a pump with 4 screws in bottom they can be removed to clean impeller area remove as much water as possible.. shop vac helps.. lean washer back and remove bottom to acess pump

Another flood. GE washer

The water sound is normal. There is a solution in the top of inner tub for balance. Is it overflowing...as in not stopping the fill cycle? If so check to make sure small hose is still attached to outer tu at bottom left front. This dome that it connects to can become filled with scum and causes the unit to not know that it's full. This causes flooding. You can try removing hose and cleaning out with thin wire. Sometime only fix is to replace outer tub. Again, this is only if overflowing!!
Another possibility is a bad break allowing outer tub to spin in agitation. This throws water up over sides of tub. Monitor unit when agitating to see if outer tub picks up speed and starts to spin. It is normal for it to index.
