Developer is supposed to be replaced by a technician because all of old developer has to be removed from the machine usually with a vaccum. You have to be very careful how to remove it off of the mag roller so you don't scratch it and you have to leave a finger on it so you don't mess up the polarity of it from the vaccum.

Then there are some service codes that need to be ran to initialize it. This way the toner/developer sensor can be calibrated.

If any step is missed it will effect the copy quality and the developer can be contaminated as well and will have to be replaced.

Xerox 3030 (engineering copier)-- "Toner Fault. Call for assistance" is on the little display screen. Can I easily fix this myself?

I expect you've probably got this fixed by now? In my experience people who own these machines want them working all the time. This error code problem can be over concentrated or under concentrated developer. Possibly needs developer changing, or the DEV sensor could be U/S. Good luck.

Fix a xerox 6350DT

If you have a white stripe in only one color, then you might have a bad developer. Each color has its own developer
116-2008-00 Yellow
116-2009-00 Magenta
116-2010-00 Cyan
116-2011-00 Black

Changing the developer is not super easy. You'd have to remove the left cover, HV Power Supply board, then remove Image Unit and the Developer Frame, where all the Developers are mounted. Detach the feed hose for the Developer you want to change and release the Developer's 2 spring clips.

The attached photo shows old developers which have dead spots that would cause the missing stripes on prints.

Add developer to dp-262

YOU DONT ADD DEVELOPER, YOU CHANGE IT LIKE CHANGING THE OIL IN YOUR CAR. THIS REALLY NEEDS TO BE DONE BY A TECHNICIAN BECAUSE ONCE YOU CHANGE THE DEVELOPER YOU NEED TO RESET THE COUNTER FOR IT AND DO A DENSITY ADJUSTMENT WHICH REQUIRES A SERVICE MANUAL. GOOD LUCK !

It's probably happening because the cleaning blade on the drum needs to be changed or replaced.

Thank you

The developer has to be changed by removing the old developer out with a vacuum cleaner. This includes removing it from the mag roller. It has to be applied evenly. Then a service program has to be ran to calibrate it. If any step is missed, the developer can be ruined and copy quality can get real bad.

The drum can be a messy project. The drum as well as the blade needs to be replaced.

How to change developer on Toshiba 2060 copier?

Changing the developer is a procedure for service technicians to do.  You might want to ask that question on copytechnet.com.  There are Toshiba service technicians on that can help you with that.
