Question about Panasonic KX TG2730 Cordless Phone (KX-TG2730)

Panasonic kx-tg2730 my extra cordless phone (2) tells me i'm too far away from base (1) when i'm right nexr to it. how can i connect it to the base?

One of the functions of your handset is REGISTRATION or RE-REGISTRATION. It involves stepping to that command, pressing enter, then pressing the handset locator button on the base and the two units can link up.

Both handsets tell me to move closer to base


Is the phone base near any microwave ovens, radios, televisions and other electronic products that could cause radio-frequency interference (RFI)? How far away from the base are you when it tells you to move closer to it?

The ringer on the phone is off. So, when the phone is off the base unit, I cannot hear it ring. How do I turn the ringer on? KX-TG2730


Hi! Most phones have a double function for the "#" key. Press and hold this button "#" and the silent mode will turn off/on.

unplug the base unit and when you plug it
back in the handset should work

Panasonic KX-TG1050N Cordless Phone. Base handset (No. 1, KX-TGA100N) does not work, no keypad response or dial tone. Green indicator message light ON (should only work with the TG1000N base unit) all the time till battery runs down. Display shows message ?C533?. The handset is away from the range of the base. Keep the handset on the base for some time and then try again.
