Question about Heating & Cooling
There is no way to tell you a figure that will get you close enough for the unit to work efficiently.
The amount of refrigerant will vary greatly depending on line sizing and distance...among other factors...
That unit should work on 7-10 Lb of R-22, but that could be different depending on what exactly you have there...
The unit needs to be charged with it in cooling mode and a load on the unit with outdoor temps. in the 65F and up range....
