Its don't Ask for your RAM (Read Only Memory), but it's require Hard Disk memory... so please check free space in your Hard disk... if its less than 1000mb then free some space........

''A disk error has occured'' upon start up

You cannot. (Remove any media from the diskette-drive and from the CD drive, and try again to reboot.)

The message is indicating that the disk-drive containing Windows is *NOT* readable. So, nothing can be read from the disk-drive.

Take the computer, and the original "IBM System Recovery" set of CD-ROMs, to a computer-store, and get them to remove the "dead" disk-drive, and install a new one, and to re-install Windows from the IBM CDs.

Maybe, while Windows itself cannot be read from the "old" disk-drive, the computer-store *MAY* be able to recover your "data" files.

I dont have a disk to put into my computer for it to read my hp deskjet 5740 printer but it is pluged in by a usb port but i dont understand why it wont read the printer am i setting it up wrong?

It needs the software installed in order to function (all printers do) Download it here:

My computer wont read my memory card from my hp all in one?? i think i need to install something but i cant find my original disk...what can i do?

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

Go to HP.com and click on support, you will see downloads, select your printer and download software and drivers, they usually have updated versions and they work better than the disc you recieved with the printer.

Epsoncx6600, media card wont read

Hi

Which operating system are you using? so you still have the install disk that came with your printer. there is a bundled software included on the disk that will allow you to upload image, but chances are is you are using vista or XP, this might not work. keep me posted if you have further questions. thanks for using fixya!!
