Your unit most likely needs 1. Carburetor cleaned 2. At the least, a gasket and diaphragm kit installed on the carburetor...or 3. A complete rebuild kit installed on the carburetor.
Flooding can be caused by numerous different problems...some even related to the mechanical condition of the engine, not just the carburetor. Many always say..oh...your needle valve in the carburetor is stuck open because dirt or debris has entered the fuel system and is caught under the tip of the needle in the fuel cavity. This is NOT always the problem. If you can, remove the carburetor, disassemble and inspect it...taking pictures along the way, so you know how it will go back together. I am including a technical guide on how the carb works alongwith a troubleshooting chart. I DO know that a clogged (with oil, or any debris) air filter can and will cause flooding. There are many other reasons too. This tech guide lists them all.
This guide is 2.5MB in size, has a wealth of information and requires Adobe reader to view.

Is there a lawn edger attachment for a florabest multi tool

No. However if you can rotate the string trimmer 90 degrees you can use that as an edger. Just be careful as the guard may not offer much protection from flying debris.

My Suzuki XL7, is pumping fuel but it won't start, what can I do to make it start?

Just because it pumps fuel doesn't mean there is enough pressure. If there is, then check for spark at the plugs.

My 10 year old weedeater hedge trimmer ran fine last year when I put it away for the season. When I tried to start it this year it wouldn't even fire. I put fresh fuel mix in and a new spark plug and...

I would check for spark and check the fuel lines, especially if fuel is left in it. Also if fuel left in you will have to empty the lines and carburetor or pull it enough to clear. Another thing to consider is that if fuel was left in it that the carburetor may need a rebuild, replacing the diaphrams.

I hope this is helpful for you.

The tank vent is plugged and pressure is causing the unit to run badly, there should be a filter looking thing mounted higher than the tank but attached to it, clean, repair or replace it.

Stihl FS 110 brush cutter loop trimmer ''weed eater'' won't start. I've changed gas and spark plugs and it still won't start. Tool is 5 years old. Help! D.W. from NC

Check the fuel filter, you are not getting fuel so therefore the spark is not getting anything. You can also take some carb cleaner and clean your carb. This is a common carb issue and it needs either a new filter(recommend) and also some carb cleaner shot through the system

Change fuel filter on 1995 olds aurora

Hi, here is a step by step guide that will help you with the replacement of your fuel filter.

Step1 Put on your protective glasses and gather your tools. An assortment of wrenches and screwdrivers are necessary. The ones you use will depend upon the vehicle. Step2 Elevate the vehicle. This can be done by using a jack and jack stands, or drive-up ramps. Do not rely solely on a single jack, as this is very dangerous. Step3 Find the fuel filter. The location varies from vehicle to vehicle. It’s a safe bet to start your search near the fuel tank under the body. You can also reference your owner’s manual or call your local dealership. Step4 Remove the protective covering that guards the fuel filter. Most filters have some kind of plastic covering over them to prevent damage, and can be removed by a common wrench, hex wrench, or screwdriver. Step5 Remove the fuel lines attached to the fuel filter. There are a number of ways these hoses might be linked to the pump, such as links, brackets or clips. Use either a screwdriver or wrench, whichever the attachments require. Step6 Cap the fuel lines with a pencil or golf tee, and keep them tilted toward the drainage canister. Step7 Remove the fuel filter from the assembly, noting which way it was oriented. An arrow will likely be on the filter. It should be pointed toward the engine, and away from the fuel tank. Step8 Install you new fuel filter. Be sure that it is oriented so the fuel arrow points toward the engine. Step9 Reattach the hoses and guard.

  • Do not over-tighten the fuel filter. Tighten to hand-strength, and let it be. Over-tightening can cause damage and fuel leakage.
  • Change your fuel filter approximately every 10 or 15 thousand miles, but more frequently if you often drive gravel or dirt roads. Vehicles older than 10 years might have rusty fuel tanks, which also contributes to clogging.
  • A new fuel filter is cheaper than a busted fuel pump, which is one of the more serious consequences of a severely clogged fuel filter.
  • Sometimes special tools are required to remove the Ford fuel lines and filters. Ford provides these tools with your vehicle or upon request.
  • Make sure that the engine is cool. Any heat could spark a fire.
  • Be sure that the car is secure before venturing underneath. Use a jack and jack stands, or drive-up ramps. Give the car a few nudges to Be sure it will not collapse.
  • Never smoke or light matches when changing a fuel filter.
Please rate and god bless:)
