If you have a sim card in it, you may need to talk to your Sim Card provider if your card is active and the service from them, is active. but if your phone has a line with a provider, you may also want to call them for activity verification.

Limited service

Hi,

"Limited Service" does come up at times on mobile phones and this is due to a limited signal. Sometimes switching off and taking out your SIM card carefully and a soft wipe can resolve other glitches.

But, if the problem continues, try using another sim of different network. if the phone still says limited service, then, it means this is a software problem. You will have to flash the phone for it to come back to normal.

Flashing means you want to reinstall the software on the phone and this will erase all the contact, messages, audio and video file you have on the phone. This done using cables software and computer.

You can take it back to samsung mobile office if it is on warranty.

Thanks.

Got a samsung sgh f480 unlocked but cannot use t-mobile sim cant make calls still locked on o2 network

It should say Limited Service.

Check the IMEI by pressing *#06# it should be all zeros. o2 does not allow this serial code but you could use any other network with the phone. You cannot fix this because it is illegal to change serial numbers on wireless equipment.

Samsung g600 saying LIMITID SERVICE i cant ring out or txt etc.. i have full bar power has any1 got any suggestions? to fix this phone? and any suggestions y it says limited service? thanx

when a phone usually says limited service that means the phone is locked. this happens when the phone has been lost or stolen and it has been reported to the network provider and they lock it. im afraid there is no way to get the phone unlocked.
