If your system won't work, it might caused by a power issue. The easiest way to diagnose if you a have a power issue is by checking the physical connection, AC adapter and battery. Here are some basic diagnostics that you may apply on you concern.
1. Unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet.
2. Now, remove the battery from the computer.
3. Press and hold down the power button for about 15-20 seconds.
4. Put back the battery in and connect the AC adapter to the power outlet then observe the system.
