Question about Washing Machines
Posted by Anonymous on
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Although you are on the washing machine forum, I think I recognize that your machine is a Bissell carpet cleaner ;-0)
Check the belt which is situated behind the cover on the RHS looking from the front. You lever it upwards carefully. This belt is driven by the motor and drives the water pump which is also visible. Then in turn the brushes are driven. I suspect that the belt is broken.
Hope this is not too late (which it probably is as your posting was 2 days ago!) and that it is the solution (as it was with ours).
Good luck and please score this accordingly- thanks,
