You need you plug this USB flash drive to your computer. Computer will recognize this new flash drive and give it a drive letter, such as E, F, etc...If you can save file, folder, or copy files and folders from your C drive to this new flash drive and take it everywhere you go.

Why when my desktop crashed, why did I also lose data stored om my Flash drve, cd and sd card?

You can't lose data stored on a CD because your desktop crashed as long as it wasn't being written to at that exact moment. And unless your Flash drive and SD card were plugged in at that moment, they shouldn't have lost data either! Even if they were, they shouldn't lose data unless being written to at the time.
Or are you using some kind of weird encryption on your whole system?

How do you reset ram?

you don't
RAM ( random access memory) is what the CPU uses when it is processing vast amounts of data ( like a data bank)
it is where data is stored by the cpu while it does other actions until that stored data is required to progress what is being done
there is no residual memory and when the computer is shut down, any data stored in the RAM is put back into the hard drive on shut down
any data that was in the RAM when a black out occurred will be lost

My Google play app store will not open on my Samsung galaxy S4. It says "Google play store needs background data". Help!!

I would check in System Settings/Data Usage

Find Google Play under the Data Usage and make sure that 'Restrict Background Data' is unchecked.
It sounds like you disabled Background Data.

What is the Platinum content on a 3.5" platter

The hard drive is the component of the computer where data is stored. Each drive contains one or more platters or disks where data is stored on the magnetic surfaces. The amount of data that can be recorded on a given surface depends very much on the strength of the magnetic field generated by the surface layer.
hard-disk.gif
Platinum enhanced magnetic alloy allows data to be stored at much higher densities.

Back in 1957 when IBM first introduced the hard disk, storing just 5 megabytes of data require fify disks, each measuring 24 inches in diameter. Sixty years later, a much smaller 3.5 inch disk drive is capable of storing over 500 gigabytes of data. An important process to achieving this remarkable increase in storage capacity is by adding platinum to the cobalt alloy to enhance its magnetic properties, allowing data to be stored at higher densities.

With so much digital content being created (at higher and higher definitions) and then shared online by millions of people over high speed broadband internet, the strong demand for higher capacity disk drives has resulted in more platinum being used in the manufacture of hard disks to enhance their storage capacity. The proportion of platinum in the magnetic alloy has gone up from less than 10 percent in 2002 to 35 percent in 2007.

Unable to open the folder in pendrive

The "Personal Data" folder stores all necessary data for StoreJet elite software use (including elite backup files storage). If you would like to backup files into personal data folder, please refer to the manual to use data-backup function.
Please do not manually store other data inside this folder. It might cause the software/system to function abnormally. We suggest user to store data at other different folder/path, and avoid occupying "Personal Data" folder. blackbar_left.jpg Print blackbar_right.jpg

Data will not stay stored

I assume that the data clears when you turn off the T/W, if so the batteries need changed. Depending on the age of the machine they are either on the R. or L. on the base just beyond the keyboard, they will probably be corroded so be sure to clean the holder contacts.

I created a table using swing components but when i close the window the data enered are lost...how to get the data entered in the table ?or how to store?

hi dear,

the data you are entering stores in a temporay memory( ram in this case), which lost when you close your application.

> if you want to store your data so that you can again access it, you will have to store data in a DATABASE(by using jdbc) or in a file(simpler)

In visual basic , how to store data or retrive data in or from a various tables

You must not be referencing the second table properly, the reason your first one works is because it is automatically referenced, what I mean is that Me.dataTable and dataTable will both work in the same scope.
