I need carbon brushes for motor

Hi Sam
Brushes come in a huge variety of shapes, lengths, pigtails etc
Take out the old brush and try & match up to similar size etc.
I found an over size workable set for my blower
Then I simply filed with a hand file to the rectangle shape I needed. Works fine.
Good Luck

The dryer wont heat up the clothes dont get dry everything eles works on it the drum turns ok the timer works also it just wont dry the clothes

The usual reason a dryer will heat yet not dry the clothes is going to be a air flow problem. What ya need to check is for a blocked vent and or lint build up in the blower assambly.

By far though a leading cause of that on Maytag dryers is a broken blower wheel and therefore no warm air is being drawnthrough the clothes,to check that remove the front panel and the front drum support and in the lower left corner will be the blower asm. check to see if it moves free and doesnt seem to be attached to the motor shaft.

No heat or air

Check the blower motor speed control resistor pack is ok.
(The resistor pack is usually located in the blower fan ducting in the air flow).
Check condition of electrical connection terminals on the blower motor circuit - these terminals pass considerable current and over time may fatigue overheat and loosen.
Check operation/replace any blower motor control relay,
Check the blower motor will run if +12v directly applied to the blower motor.
Check operation of the blower motor speed control switch is ok.

Try turning the drum by hand. If it spins easily with no resistance, the belt has failed. On the back of the appliance you should find a label identifying the Make, Model, and Serial Number. Take down all the information provided, and then find a local appliance shop that carries that brand. Order the new belt.

Air flow seems low

ok dose this model furnace have a circuit board? if so there should be markings on the board where the blower leads are attached. such as cool heat park/or un used motor leads. and to speed up your blower it is going to be either the red wire or black wire they some times alternate you will have to see how the blower sounds or feels.. but you are going to replace the wire going to the heat terminal with a red or black wire and see how that works for ya. just makesure the power is off before sticking your fingers in there... also it may seem too obvious but ill say it anyway check ait filter and make sure all your dampers are open properly on the supply duct work

Blower motor stop working on 2000 Pontiac GP

Two possibilities I can think of. #1. The blower motor itself is dead, or #2. The blower motor resistor is fried. Blower motor resistor, however, is more known for taking out certain fan speeds, such as the lower fan speeds.
