How do I increase inlet pressure on my pump?

is this a self priming pump or a pool pump??? pool pump you might have a break in the pvc pipe that is allowing air to enter the system or the pump is too small or length of pipe run could be to long and in that case you need a larger pump..

Little giant WRSC-6 won't shut off

The vent should definitely be connected to a vent pipe. (Does waste water rise in vent pipe, or can it outgas to indoors? If the latter, maybe it would work not connected.) Mine just quit after 17 years; it would come on and not shut off. I figure it was either the switch assembly stuck on, a blocked output, or a failed pump. I pulled it all apart and found that an O-ring in the pump housing was hanging out of the seam. Owners manual warns against taking apart anything in the pump housing, and given its repulsive appearance, I ordered a replacement pump ( about $125.) I was a little irritated at the original plumbers' installation. With all the PVC pipe glued into place, it was unserviceable without cutting all the pipes and replumbing. I'm installing 1 1/2" unions at the three ports, and the next time, it will be removable for inspection, etc. Got top and bottom halves scrubbed out and ready for a midnight trip through dishwasher. So, if yours used to work, either the switch is falsely telling the pump to keep going (switch replacement kits are available), the pump is not moving the water (as in my case), or the pump is trying really hard and maybe a check valve isn't opening to let water out.

I think I am experiencing peoblems with the electronic fuel pump. Is there a way to find out if it is the fuel pump before I take the gas tank apart

You can check for power and ground at the tank.
Also check the fuel pump relay, located on the left
fender. There is also a fuel pump shutoff switch that
shuts off the fuel pump in case of collision. This switch has a reset button on it in case it pops after a
slight bump. The switch is located under the dash to
the left of the steering colum. Hope this helps.

Pump fell apart - inner piece fell out

On these newer pumps, the plastic piston comes apart, and to fix it a new part is in order. Without looking at it, I think that is what might have happened. Bicycle pumps are almost throw-away items these days. In the old days you could buy all sorts of pump parts, but not anymore. Good luck

I have a diamond pump modlel # 560549 i am trying to take it apart but i cant seem to get the pump seperated from the motor.

Of course you can't get it separated especially if the pump housing is still intact. Please do this;
1. Open the screw or bolts holding the front pump
casing.
2. Now, you can see the rotating part of the pump,
that is the impeller, and the cover called the
diffuser.
3. Take the impeller cover off, and see if the impeller
is mounted and locked by a nut at the pump shaft.
Or, screwed to the pump.
4. Take the impeller off from the shaft by taking off
the nut or unscrewing it counter clockwise.
5. Take the mechanical seal at the back of the
impeller off from the shaft.
6. Now, you can separate the motor from the pump.
Hope this will help you.

Transfer case leak

You mean between the case halves? It is just silicon, no gasket. These are good for the pump wearing a hole in the rear housing and leaking oil. The cure for it is a new rear housing and a piece called a case saver that keeps the pump from doing it again. Taking the transfer case apart to fix it is easy, I can tell you how to do it.

Leaking washer

Those top loaders are pretty dang simple and easy to repair. To access the pump motor and that pesky drive coupling you must remove the cabinet and expose the innards. Start by removing scews on either side of the control panel, flip it upwards on its hinges and pop the S clips that hose the case to the rear. Unplug the lid switcha82e1c7.jpg and tip the case forward . Remove it from the base. Now you can work on the machine. Add a little water to the machine and look for obvious leaks. Defeat the lid switch (jumper it) and run a whole cycle with the case off so you can determine where the leak is coming from.
