Well, that depends.

If the card is corrupted itself and it is within warranty, you can contact Sandisk and request a new one if possible.

If the card is corrupted due to your fault, try fix it first (format it). If still won

How to fix corrupted file like game and softwere from mobile9

If the phone has corrupt files in the software you need to reset or reinstall to make it work properly. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Copy only valid files to the card and do a scan before it is replaced. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up or is slow when it is switched ON , then it is possible that the fault is relative to the software and will need a reinstallation. Possible hardware issue cannot be ruled out.

Memory Card Error Messages

Fully Corrupt:
When the entire save area of the Memory Card becomes corrupt, the system will inform the player that the Memory Card is corrupt and offer to format it. The card must be formatted before gameplay begins or when the game attempts to access the Memory Card. The exact message may vary from software to software.

Follow the steps for formatting a memory card.

For specific issues with the Memory Card 1019, please click here.

Suggestion: It is always a good idea to copy your most important files to a second Memory Card as a back-up.
Data Area Only Corrupt:
When only the data area of a Memory Card is corrupt (not the entire Memory Card) the game may not detect this until the Memory Card is accessed. Once it is accessed, the game will inform the player that the file being accessed is corrupt and must be erased. The game will only delete the one file being accessed and will not format the entire Memory Card (Other saved game files on the Memory Card may be OK).

Follow the steps for deleting a file.

Memory Card is Damaged:
If the Memory Card has been physically damaged, or has been damaged beyond repair, you will get this message. The Memory Card will need to be replaced. The system may attempt to format the card, but if it cannot it will give the error Memory Card is Damaged. There is no way to recover the game data from the memory card.

Memory card corrupted i can't reformat the memory card

Corrupted memory cards which cannot be reformatted have only one fix: replace them with a new unit. If the memory card is under warranty you may be able to return it to the manufacturer for a free exchange.

Corrupted photos

A generic fix for cameras with this problem is to FORMAT the memory card. Simply erasing the card is different from formatting. A freshly formatted card wipes all information from the card - making appear (almost) NEW.

Save all desired pictures from card before formatting, as once the format process has been completed, it is *nearly* impossible to retrieve any data from the card.

If the problem continues, the card itself may have been corrupted, and should be replaced.

I hope this helps!

Memory card isshowing corrupt

That means that memory card is faulty and you must replace the memory card.

Test the memory card on a computer using a card reader and test a different card inside the phone.

If the phone returns same error with all memory cards, then the phone memory card slot is faulty, otherwise just replace memory card.

Why dose my tom tom stop on a test run half way through the journey

When on test or demo , the tomtom runs on a demo menue list loaded onto the sd card. if the data file on this list is corrupted the tomtom will only complete the demo journey up to the corrupted point in the list. I would suggest that you reload your backup onto your SD card . ( Hopefully you did make a backup to your PC ? ). Other than that , you could try contacting tomtom and ask them which file you need to replace on your SD card in order to replace the corrupted file. You could then either download it from tomtom website or copy it from someone elses tomtom SD card.

ERROR MESSAGE: Corrupted CompactFlash card.

Storing digital picture information to a CompactFlash card (as when a digital image is taken) is similar to storing data on the hard drive of a computer -- if the process is stopped or interrupted, the information stored is not complete and, therefore, "corrupts" the storage media. A computer will display a warning message indicating that the hard drive has errors, while a camera will display a message indicating the memory card is corrupted. The CompactFlash card corruption can be caused by: * Turning off the camera power before the photo information is completely stored on the card. * Removing the card before the photo information is completely stored on it. * Taking a second picture before the camera has finished storing the previous picture. * Camera batteries that are near the end of their life and need to be replaced. Once a CompactFlash card is corrupted, it can be used again only by performing a Format procedure. IMPORTANT! When a CompactFlash card is re-formatted, any pictures stored on it will be lost forever and cannot be recovered.
