Our corded phone's mouthpiece sounds muffled - Lands Phones

We have the Twin Cordless Phone, and both handsets sound muffled "at the other end" when we speak. I just purchased this phone system at Christmas, so I wouldn't think there is anything obstructing the opening such as dirt, crumbs, etc. Any suggestions?

Need to change system greeting message

You should be able to simply RECORD over the previous message. On the device...look for RECORD and speak into the mouthpiece and that's it.

Nokia 3110c microphone/mouthpiece problem

Use a corded handsfree and if there is no fault then we need to see if there is dirt on the microphone opening in the panel which can get clogged with dirt and reduce the pick up. If not the phone must be opened to have the microphone tested.
replace if there is no response with a test with the multimeter in the ohms range.

My voice sounds very low to whoever I speak to on the phone

the problem of your phone is obviously the mouthpiece.i want you to do this yourself because its quite easy;
Put off the phone, and remove the battery.
Get a clean cotton wool and spirit, remove the front case of you phone gently from the panel.
Moisten the cotton wool with spirit and squeeze out, then gently use the cotton wool to clean the surface of the mouthpiece which is located at the base of the phone.
After all these, couple your phone back and put it on.
if the problem perists after these,it means the mouthpiece is bad and needs replacement which means you might have to consult a phone technician.

Incoming callers cannot hear me very well

Since there is no volume adjustment for outgoing volume with the Navigator key, that's possible.

Go find another handset from another system phone and test it, or just move to another phone and see if they can hear you better.
You could have a bad handset, bad cord (unlikely), bad phone, or bad circuit for that line or call.

Almost al of these items are repairable or replacable.

Callers sound muffled

Your phone's speaker could be going out. Has this problem progressively become worse or did it happen all of a sudden? And what is the make and model of the phone in question, and how old is it?
It may be time to upgrade, as your phone may not be worth the trouble, we'll know better when you provide some information about your phone.
It could be that the speaker got damp and that's causing the muffling sound? More detailed information will always get you better Solutions. Your problem description contains only three words, causing my reply to be this lengthy and non productive.
Good luck.
