Question about Wowwee Alive Fin Fin Friends Tropical Paradise
Hi, I have had similar things like this before, talking singing fish, bear heads and the like, and usually they stop working due to the wires braking at the speaker... or at the battery compartment, or going onto the boards.
Sometimes it is a switch, that the moving Fin, cannot operate, what I am trying to say I guess, is that most often the faults are what we call mechanical as opposed to electronic/electrical.
The wires, if no soldering iron, is available, sometimes, can be twisted back onto terminals if and as, possible. However wires broken off the boards etc MUST be re-soldered.
usually it is a pretty simple job to open them up, and have a look, you have little to loose?
of course you could always try and take it to your local "Computer & repair guy" and ask him for a favor, to fix your child's toy on the cheap.. you never know?
