the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

make a cold reset or NVRAM reset
To do a cold reset you power on the printer while holding down the go button for about 5 seconds and then release the button. If the button is held for more then 15 seconds it may do a NVRAM reset

SOURCE: dell 5100cn change ip address

Changing Printer's IP Address isn't that complicated. There are two ways on how to change the printer's IP Address.

If you know the old printer's IP address, you can simply type that old IP address on the Address Bar of your Internet Explorer or any other browser (ex: http://192.168.1.101). It should redirect you to the printer's User Interface. From there you can go to Network then TCP/IP settings. You can change the IP address of the printer. Make sure to use an IP address within the same range of your network.

The other way to change the printer's IP address is by its own Menu/Settings on the printer's LCD panel.
On your printer, press Menu then got Settings. Look for Network or LAN settings and click on Advance. Select TCP/IP and click on Edit. You can now change the IP address of the printer from there. Click on Done or Save after that.

Note: Make sure the use the correct IP address within the network's range.

Press Utility/Counter

Input code 12345678 or 00000000
Select admin 2

Here you can change the network settings to match you new Network scheme. You will have to reinstall the print drivers after you correct the network settings. If you have the driver disk it will auto run and find the machine, if you don't have the disk you can download the drivers at kmbs.konicaminolta.com where you can also download the user manuals in PDF format that will go into more detail on changing the network settings.

4300 laserjet wont print docs. IP address is same as a network computer, cannot change IP address? Configuration page prints and I check ports etc but will not print. cannot change IP address. Help....

Have you tried changing the IP address from within the driver's properties? Go into the print driver properties, and under the Ports tab, edit the 4300's port and change the IP address that it is associated with. You may need to reboot the printer once you make the change and save it, but that should allow you to change its IP address.

How change ip address of epson epl n2500

Hi, i know its been months already but i have a solution to your problem, we have same problem and i solved it already..First, you have to get the ip address of your printer,..Then, open command prompt..
At command prompt, Try this command;
telnet ip address (this is your ip address)
Then, as you can see, their is a lot of instructions there..
So, you must follow it..
Take note: It automatically saved the changes.

Second options:
Type the ip address of your printer at web browser, it looks like this:
http:/192.168.1.100/ (this must be your ip address)
Then, as you can see, there is a lot of choices there.
So, you have to choose the configuration to change your old ip address.

I hope it can help you..
Thanks

Netgear WGR614 v6 I would like to host Nascar races & need to open TCP Port 8590 to allow this to happen . Can anyone help me ? Thanks Lenny

You need about 3 pieces of information to make this work; the machine that's going to serve's IP address, the password to your router, and a machine on the network.

You can let the serving machine obtain an IP address automatically, but if it changes you will have to reset your server IP address all the time. So, for fun, give it an address in your IP range, generally 192.168.1.x. Pick a number like maybe 250. Then, log into your Netgear (192.168.1.1) and use admin and the password to get to the router web page. On the left tab, go to port forwarding, create a new custom service, and put in 8590 and the IP address of the server.

Once you apply it, it will show up in the table and you'll see what port, a name, and the internal IP address 8590 goes to.

Printing to a Xerox DC12/DCS50

you can't print via serial to it. You will have to check the settings in your rip to see what the ip address is. Lights will blink all the time to indicate it is on a network, its just not talking to it. Then you go into your add printers section click the + sign and it should come up in there if the ip address is in line with your mac ip
