My invicta 0126 has a lip to pop off the back but also has the ridges for a screw off back does this make it fake?

Screw off back case and take a look to the battery. All batteries have type and number.

Sometimes the caseback can be screwed off with your hands by just pressing on your 4 fingers to twist the back off.... Or you can pop the case back off using a small knife on the edge of it. If you look carefully you might find a lip (or gap) where you can slide the tool in to pop it off.

You need a press. you need to find a person, a watchmaker, to help you.

this watch has a screw down crown. lift up the protector bar or start to unscrew down until it pops out, then turn slowly and pul gently all way out. set the time . tere is 2 positions there. full out time and inbetwwen them is the date and day settings.when there turn up or down until date chages, if it has day and date , up is day down is date.you have to turn few times for it to move..set the date ,set day before and go around . the 12 see number change to might date, set the correct time am or pm. push the crown in and screw in up til hand tight.

Most good dive watches with a screw in crown need the crown to be pushed in and turned clockwise AT THE SAME TIME in order to screw in the crown fully and make the watch watertight.

When you want to adjust the date or time, you just rotate the crown counter-clockwise until it pops out a bit. If you gently pull the crown out to the first position you can turn it to adjust the date. If you pull the crown out farther, to the second position, then you can turn it to adjust the time.

Never take your watch into the water unless the crown is fully screwed in finger tight or water will get into the watch movement compartment and ruin it.

You should beable to pop the back off to see battery number or places like wally world etc.. will replace the battery for just the cost of the new one no labor

mcdevito75 here, Your invicta may have a screw down crown that adds water proof protection to your watch, try to un-=screw the crown when un- screwed then pull up to set time.

I was having the same problem with mine. Even though the band has arrows, those really are screws in the band. Two really small screwdrivers and you can take out the unneeded links. They are in there really tight, so expect some resistance until they pop loose, after that its easy.

Drill a shallow hole where the tiny lip is on the outer perimeter of the back then take the drill bit out of the drill and stick it into the shallow hole you drilled and pry the back up with it. It's not a screw on back, it just pops off but you cant fit anything under the tiny lip to pry it off unless you drill a shallow hole. I did and I got mine off easy.
