Epson c84 printer will not put ink on page. Have replaced all cartridges - Eprons, run all maintenance programs that are part of system but nothing shows up on the page. The cartridges are slowing going down as shown on the printer page. I have used an air can to blow out dust. I bought a cleaner kit from Office Depot but have not used it yet. Do not want to waste $14 not knowing what I am doing!!

I don't know if this will help but your problem sounds like a C82 model. On the right side of the printer below where the print head rests is a small plastic suction tube. This tube can become disconnected and will prevent the printer from printing. Check to see if this is your problem. In the picture the red circle shows where the tube connects and the yellow shows the tube.
if not then the tubes are clogged
the only way to make this printer work again is a pump and cap assembly replacement. The Dura Brite inks are waterproof. As such, they dry in the tube forming crystals. As far as I have been able to determine, these crystals perforate the tube causing a loss of suction from the pump assembly.
Furthermore, a large accumulation of ink builds up at the end of the waste ink tube in the waste ink pads. The printer mechanism must be removed from the base, one of the pads must be removed, then you have to remove the ***** of ink from the end of waste ink tube. After that is done a small amount of water should be flushed through the tube to clean it. Make sure you replace the pad before you flush or you will have ink all over the place.
I have seen the tube fall off as the previous post noted. Sometimes but not always, putting that tube in place will solve the problem too. However in most instances it does not because the tube has split.
A little hint; do this repair in an area where you won't mind getting ink around. Also wear some latex gloves to keep ink off your fingers.
