Question about Computers & Internet

Hi I recently have had a problem on iTunes with importing songs. I lanch iTunes, put the CD in, and it says importing "track name", but it never starts. I have imported over 100 CDs before, but now no matter what I try, it just doesn't do it. What should I do?

Uninstall the iTunes application and download this iTunes by clicking the Download latest version on the left side of the page and after downloading, install this version of iTunes and insert again your CD's. Have a nice day!

I think updating iTunes may work. Click here to download/ install the latest version of iTunes from Apple Official Support.

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

Any way to remove the DRM from iTunes Apple Music?

Here's one way:
1. Using iTunes, burn a music CD with the songs you want.
2. Import the CD you just created. Use the iTunes > Preferences > Import Settings to set the type of audio file you want iTunes to create when importing the songs.
3. iTunes will import the tracks as "Track 1", "Track 2", etc. You can rename the tracks to the original song titles.

How do you import CDs into iTunes?

Copy music from a CD to iTunes by following these steps:
  1. Insert a music CD into your computer. Notice that iTunes opens automatically.
  2. In the list that appears, use the checkboxes to select or deselect the songs you want to import. Songs that are selected will be imported.
  3. After you've selected the songs you want to import, click the Import button. iTunes will begin copying the music from your CD to your iTunes music library.
  4. After the songs are imported, click the Eject Disk button.
  5. Select Library in the Source list to view all the music in your iTunes library, including the songs you just imported.

I have imported a CD to iTunes (a compilation album "American Anthems" - Various Artists) but instead of recognising the tracks as being a part of one album it has split them into their own individual...

You need to modify the information on each of those songs.
To do that, you need to open iTunes and go to your music library.
Select one of the songs that you want to modify and right-click on it.
    Select Get Info.
Select Info tab (second among the tabs on top)
And type in the name of the album on the box under Album.
And click OK to save changes.
You can also Next or Previous if you see that the next/previous song belong to that album. That way you don't need to select and right-click on the next/previous song. It will automatically open the info of that song.

Downloaded music, shows artist name but no tracks??

It could be the wrong format. I used to play music off my psp. I'm guessing if you use iTunes, and imported a CD, its going to make your songs AAC format, which is also known as MP4. I have posted a link to where you can set the different compression methods. If you are using WMA format, you are using an even less compatible format, and if you import it into iTunes, it will convert it as well. To convert already imported music into iTunes, once you set the preferences to MP3, right click on the song, and click "create MP3 version." after that you may reveal the song in the finder/explorer by right clicking the song, and clicking "show in finder" or "show in explorer"

you need to organise the playlist in the order you want.
First you need the mp3 files. Then use itunes to make a playlist and make the playlist the same order as the cd, or as you want it.
