if you have a factory radio, then chance are you antenna is amplified (even if you don't have an antenna that goes up in the back). The fuse for the antenna amplifier could have blown or the amplifier itself my have gone bad. It could also be your radio but, i would check those things first... Just a side note: i don't know of any stations that around me that aren't odd numbers 92.3 fm,95.5 fm,100.3 fm. Where you able to tune it to 100 fm before?
As far as I nkow, you need to contact Kenwood with the radio serial number to get the unlock code. In the past, they would not give it to you without giving them a special code from a card that came inside the package. You can always try though, give them a call, the number is on their website.
Some radios have the option to adjust sensibility when scanning the frequency, check in your owners manual if your radio have that option. If you can't find that there or if you don't have it let me know about the brand and model.
