Will my fuel consumption increase from 3500ft above sea level to 0ft sea level?

It rather depends on how you drive more than the altitude. At sea level, you have more air available, which means you have more power available. If you use the power, then you will use more fuel. If you stay light on the "go" pedal, you will use less.

Last time I was in both cities, Calgary had less traffic, and that may be the reason you're using more fuel in Montreal, not the altitude.

Hi i have installed a lowrance m52 s/gps in my boat i have turned it on while boat still on trailer and the unit is reading 5.6 ft deep, is this what it should say?

GPS uses satellites to determine position and altitude. Depending on where you are, above or below sea level, it may say you are flying in the air or a few hundred feet below the water. YOU have to determine what your mean altitude is by knowing what the local altitude is above or below sea level. If you were in Denver, Colorado, it would tell you that the boat was about 5,341 feet up in the air. In Death valley you would be below the water because it is below sea level, -272 feet.

How much output can i get from northstar 5500 ppg generator

there are two things in generator out put
one is max out put which is 5500 in your case and another is rated out put which should be about 4500 in your generator Max out put should be used only for a little time say half an hour otherwise generator is suppose to run on rated load or rated out put which is 4.5 kva or 4500watts in your set that also when you are in Ideal conditions means if you are at the sea level if you are above in altitude you can calculate that engine will loose its efficiency at the rate of 3% after every 1000 feet altitude inthat way you can calculate how much rated load you can put on the generator

Hi,
Altitude should have no effect on the machine...

I just moved from Charleston, SC to Colorado and went from sea level to 6,200 Ft above sea level...do I need to make any adjustments for the higher altitude?

it its fuel injected it will have an atmospheric pressure sensor that compensates for altitude. if its carbs you may have to alter the height of the needle and slightly smaller main jets

Typically, When you go over 3000 ft above sea level you should adjust the calibration or jetting in the carbs. If the bike is very sluggish at 6200 ft you may have to lean the carb out by installing smaller jets and lowering the needles. the carbs are very intricate and should only be serviced by a qualified technician.
Thanks and I hope that this helps.

Beeping too frequently while diving.

There could possibly be a couple of reasons why your computer is beeping. It may be that the depth limit has been set too high and you are breaking the limit and setting the alarm off. This limit is user changeable. You could be setting off the assent alarm by coming up too quick. Not sure if that helps, just problems I have encountered in the past.

2008 Rio 5 mixture too rich. I have a 2008 Rio 5 that has the mixture far too rich. This is a real problem as it takes forever to warm up in the winter, especially at our altitude of 1500 meters. Car seems...

Warm-up is controlled by the thermostat, not altitude. There is an electronic kit (you have to assemble it) available from Jaycar Electronics in Australia. www.jaycar.com or 1-800-784-0263. This kit allows you to modify the voltages that come from various sensors including the O2 sensor that directly modifies fuel/air mixtures by adjustable percentages. It's not cheap, but could be a fix. Your only problem with this would be having to switch this modifier out-of-circuit when going to sea-level driving. Hope this helps or at least offers you some other ideas for consideration. Is this a common problem for other Kia owners in your area?

Yes, Sir. But remember when pilots reset their altimeter with the local altitude, the pressure value matches the moment wheather pressure. It will be wrong anyway, if you reset you altitude, but the pressure readings are still wrong. Im my case it is happening. The altutide is correct but the pressure of the watch does not match the local pressure. It is 20 hpa over it. By the way, I am an airline pilot.
