I have a small leak coming from under my machine that I noticed at the end of the cycle on emptying my machine. Could this be a problem with my filter?

Any leak can be easily identified only if you can take a closer look with a good observation lamp.
So this can be from a faulty hose connector, a faulty hose, faulty drain pump/valve, drum gaskets- door gaskets or the inlet valve.
Once this is confirmed you can replace the gaskets or tighten the hose or clean the drain valve/pump.

Dishwasher not emptying, and leaking water every where

A very frustrating issue to be sure and these questions are not meant to be flippant but I do want to find out if there is actually more than one problem. Does your machine have water leaking even when it is not turned on? You mention that the dishwasher is not emptying - do you simply mean is it not emptying properly?

If water is coming out when the machine is not on, it means you have a leak at the water supply connection that only stops when you turn the water valve off. If the machine fills and immediately starts leaking water during the wash cycle, it means there is a gravity leak usually near the pump. If the water only leaks when the machine should be draining it, it means you have a leak somewhere in the drain line - a not uncommon problem. I've seen several instances where mice have chewed a small hole in the plastic drain line to get the water.

Can you give more specifics about when the water is coming out? Also, your make and model number would be helpful.

Older Kitchenaid Dishwasher doesn't fully drain and smells

Hi Jay. Remove the lower front panel and you will see the drain hose. On the machine end of the drain hose is a small drain pump. Disconnect the hose and the pump and you will most likely find a partial blockage in the form of a piece of glass or something preventing a total drain.

Leak where water enters drum

I would say you havda inlet valve. With the washer not in use and empty after about 2-4 hours do you notice that you have a semi full tub? If it is filling with water by itself you have a bad inlet valve all you have to do is take the top panel off you will see the valve it's what is attached to the fill hoses. When you have dirty lines the dirt goes through the solinoids and keeps them open causeing the water to come in when not in use.

Oil and water leak

Chances are they are not related if the water is clean. These units can run quite a while dripping small amounts of oil. The drain hose is a possibility but there are other places it can leak from. Call a local tech he can run the machine with the cabinet removed and should be able to find the source of the water leak. good luck

Dishwasher just emptying

I am at the end of my tether. I have bought a new door latch for my Bosch SGS 43E02 GB45, so door now closes properly and have managed to stop the leak under the front left hand side of the machine. Howver it sounds as if it is constantly emptying. It does not go onto the new wash cycle just keeps pumping out the water. It did run a quick rinse yestreday but now is back to the constant emptying problem. Even when I open the door it still keeps running and staying on a emptying cycle despite there being no visible water left inside the machine. Please help!!

Ultima WF840 won't go from wash to rinse cycle

the pump is blocked, so the sensor detects that the machine has not emptied in the allocated time, so this will reset the time.... the pause is because it knows there is a probblem getting rid of water.

location: bottom right near the motor. ensure you tip the washer as far forward as you can so you can get a bucket under in order to prevent flooding.

hope this helps

Kenmore washer leak

With the machine unplugged and EMPTY disconnect the water and waster water connection from the wall and tip it forward you should then be able to access the pump.  Check the hoses running to the pump. (usually white plastic with 2 large and 1 small hose running to it.. you can also just move it away from the wall with it completely connected and run it thru a cycle to see where it is leaking from.

Possible the leak comes from under the tub. Remove the wall plug & take off the rear panel. Check to see if the hose from the under the tub is secure, it could be the grip clip below the hose has come off. This is where it connects to the pump section. You need a grip plier or something to get it back on securely. If this is not the case take a good look to see where the leak comes from.

Next is the door gasket, maybe a tear.
