Try to disable the LAN by clicking Start > Control Panel and then click Network Connections . Then right click Local Area Network connection then click disable. Restart the pc and do the same thing except you will enable the Local Area Network. Check if you will have internet connection..

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Router wont conect to network

Make sure your router is using the same ip subnet as the network.

Your router may be preset with a certain subnet and be set to hand out IP addresses via DHCP. If you are on a business network - you want the network's DHCP to hand out an address to the router... or you can configure a static IP range on the router that matches the network.

Bought a printer server called Networking USB LPR Print server. It`s softwear does not support OKI but the install wizzard asks for installation disk from OKI. When I start the OKI driver installation...

  1. log into router
  2. look at the leases issued by the dhcp server in the router
  3. note the ip address assigned to the printer
  4. change the lease to be permanently leased to the printer server
  5. the print server will have a device name . you should be able to figure out which ip address is assigned / leased to it .
  6. You never assign a print server , or server or printer with a temporary dhcp ip address ! hence why you should change the lease of it to permanent .
  7. Then it will be assigned the same ip address by the dhcp server .

Installing new wireless g business ethernet bridge my problem is i cant connect to ip address for set up 198.168.1.1 does not connect neither does192.168.1.226 what now. i have internet conection on 2...

You need to manully assign your computer an address in the 12.168.1.x range with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 rather than whatever is currently being used(most likely assigned by DHCP),

Once you do this and connect to the device, it is best to normally give it an address in your norml ip range, reset your computer back to normal, and then re-connect using the newly assigned address to verify it has been done correctly.

Depending on the model, you may also have the option of making the initial connection with a serial cable and then make any desired changes including device IP address by this method.

My wii cant connect to my wireless conection

First you need to find a Windows wired or wireless device already connected to the network in order to find out the required settings

Windows XP
1. Click start --> (sometimes settings) --> Control Panel --> Network Connections
2. Double click on the active connection which will say connected underneath
3. Click Support
4. Click Details
5. Now the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Alternate DNS which are displayed should be noted.

Windows Vista
1. Click Start --> Control Panel --> Network and Sharing Center
2. Click on "View Status" to the right of your connection
4. Click Details
5. Now the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Alternate DNS which are displayed should be noted.

Set these values under "manual settings" in the Wii but add 1 to the last number for the IP Address as this has to be unique on your network

make sure both computers are using the automatic ip configuration. check this by clicking START, CONTROL PANEL, NETWORK CONNECTIONS, then right click on your connection and click PROPERTIES, in the white box with the 4 options highlight TCP/IP and click PROPERTIES. The "obtain ip address automatically" circle should be ticked, and also under the ALTERNATE CONFIGURATION the circle "automatic private ip address" should be ticked
