Question about Computers & Internet
Welcome to FixYa!
Congratulations on your new TV! Yes it is the right Dongle.
The dongle can be directly connected to the USB port on the side of your LG Broadband TV and will allow the television to connect to a WAP (wireless access point) or wireless router. Once the adapter has been connected to the television, you can access the network setup menu to have the television search for wireless networks available in the home.
Make sure that your router is broadcasting the SSID for the TV/Dongle to pick up.
It might require you to input the password of your router if you have one.
Thanks for using FixYa.
Enjoy your new TV.
