Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

Initially when the bluescreen started it was on and off. Occasionally I had to switch of the phone and back on and it worked but it finally went permanently blue. No tricks would make it worked this time. I can still receive calls though nothing is displayed. I have been using this phone(nokia 6085) for 2years. Any assistance would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Nathan Aklasu

Thank you very much for the information. I'll look around for the replacement flex cable to buy and replace it as soon as possible. Thank you so much.

Hi,

Go to Nokia Service Center, there's a problem with the FLEX of your cellphone or simply the ribbon that connects the LCD of your cellphone to it's motherboard.

Please don't forget to rate! Thanks!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

What would cause dash lights and gauges to not come on occasionally when key is turned to the position just before starting the car?

I would initially suspect a bad ignition switch (not the lock....the actual switch). It could also be a short poor ground, failing component on the instrument cluster board etc. Try go ogling your problem with your specific year make and model to see if this may be a common issue.

hi blinkgirl556

was there a new hardware that was added to your laptop? bluescreens often are caused by hardware.
while the laptop is booting up when you are asked for options on how to start you computer is there an option for start windows using last known configuration? if there is try that and if it still goes into bluescreen you may want to try and recover your laptop using the hp recovery cd or recovery tool. if it still doesn't work most likely you have a bad memory chip.

hope this helps

I had this same problem, there is a thin line of wires connecting the bottom half and top half of the sliders, after awhile it just plain wears out and will generally crack, without these wire anything on the front of your phone will no longer work. The screen is black but stil lights up a little bit and occasionally the buttons light up but its pretty much toast I'm sorry to say. I upgraded to a HTC Touch Pro 2 and am happier than ever!

APPS ARENT WORKING

Initially do a cold restart of the phone...hold Home and Top until the phone shuts down even if you see the slide to power down..keep holding.
I would start by restoring the phone through iTunes to a previous version where things were working. Finally if all fails you will want to wipe the phone and start clean.

Bluescreened a few times and went out? I updated

Try testing the memory modules 1 at a time to check for faults. Bluescreens are commonly caused by bad memory especially with XP.

Bootloader usb init

hold the end key(power) and it should restart back to normal. If it goes back into bootloader then your phones software could be corrupt or could have a wrong value in somewhere. What provider is this?

It appears that the boot sector of your hard drive became corrupted. The problem is not hardware related and should be fixable by using the restore CD that came with your unit.

Brand new had it for about 2 weeks.

After the bluescreen appears press: middle button > 1x down > select > 5x down > select > 2x up > select > enter pin (6 zeros if you don't know it) > select > top left key
Follow the exact sequence and it will factory reset your phone. You may have to try this multiple times. Caution:This will delete all the contacts, msgs etc on your phone. So make sure you connect it to a comp and back up your data first!
Good Luck!
