I have a Dynex DX-28 headset. My headset from hearing works, but my microphone does not. I can hear people, but they cannot hear me. The bar for speaking will go up, but mostly only one bar will show. Do I need a new headset, it was purchased January, 2010. I have been using my headset on Yahoo and Skypes PC to PC.

Open skype go to tools from the drop down list select options scroll to audio settings
you can make a free test call before you try to make a call
make sure the microphone is using the same as your computers audio
you can make a free test call if you cant get the microphone to work you can select learn about setting up your audio equipment also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices audio and also voice it's the same make sure that you have the right default microphone selected you should be able scroll to video settings to make sure you have the right settings
Open skype go to tools options scroll to audio settings or video settings on the right you will see webcam setting you can change the settings from there click apply after changing any settings also you can see the webcam there you can even take a snapsot also make sure your settings are correct for a video call

Dynex 18u headset not transmitting sound


Make sure your headset is properly plugged into the correct ports.
Make sure the volume is set to a medium level and is not muted.

Bought new dynex dx-740 earclip headset with microphone. earpiece works but computer not picking up microphone.


Have you installed the software for your headphone? Your computer might not pick up your device because it doesn't recognize the device.

I can hear my voice in my headsets..its very loud..if I blow into the mic..its like an actual live mic


all headsets feature what I think is called side tone. you need to hear a bit of yourself when speaking on a microphone as a bit of communication reassurance. When thew microphone level is up way too loud , that's more than side tone, it's annoyance that's when you get the problem that you've listed. I've seen it on telephone headsets and Mobile Phones but i'm sure it would happen on gaming headsets too...

Clear chat mic doent work


in skype go to tools>options>audio setting make sue the microphone is logitech and the green bars should start moving as you talk.
if no logitech appears or the mic is not producing sound. call logitech for warranty info. if the mic is producing sound below is "make a free skype test call" to see if the program is transmitting.

My DYNEX microphone wont work


Perhaps you have it connected to the speaker connection? Have you looked at the microphone to ensure there isn't possibly a mute button you have accidentally pressed?

Out of curiosity, how are the others hearing you ask if they can hear you? If you are using the microphone to ask, perhaps they are just yanking your chain?

Bsod with dynex dx-28


Most of the time this is a driver related problem. Did you check the device manager to see if the audio device has problems? Try updating the driver for it if you can find a newer driver.
Of course always try a virus scan and spyware scan, as some viruses cause BSOD errors are well.

You can check the event viewer for details, and see if that helps you further. Analyzing the details of the the blue screen error helps to isolate the real cause.
