Question about LG CU400 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Voicemail Icon On my Cu400 the voicmail icon shows but when i dial up my voicemailbox it says i have no new messages. I have tried checking all my text messages, none have any voice attachment thingies. This problem is not that crippling, but i never know if i have new messages or not just a nuisance.

I have the same thing, but mine it's after i listen to voicemail. sometimes it takes days before it'll go away. usually trying a few times in the meantime to "listen" to this message that i had already deleted. turning off my phone a few times and eventually it goes away. but it's annoying, i agree

I simply cannot get my icon to turn off this week. It just started a few days ago, not a chronic problem (I have owned the phone for 2 years). While I have noted in the past that I might have to check my voicemail twice in order for the icon to go away, I have check my voicemail 10 times today and the icon is still there.

I had the same problem at one point in time. However, I figured out that when someone calls and leaves a voicemail there is a message that appears saying "1 new voicemail". Try hitting the "listen" option and let it take you to voicemail that way instead of cancelling out of that option to see your missed call. That should make it go away. If not, then I have no idea.

I had a voicmail that I had saved on my phonen I went to listen to it, it was automatically deleted. That is a very imprtnt voicemail that I needed. Is there any way to get it back?

  • Start by tapping the "Phone" icon on your iPhone.
  • 2 Next, access your voice mail messages by tapping the "Voicemail" icon.
  • 3 Look at your list of current voice messages. If you have any messages that are eligible for recovery, you'll see an item at the very bottom called "Deleted Messages". Tap on this to access a list of your deleted messages.
  • 4 You should now see a list of deleted voice messages. If you see the message that you want to recover, tap on it and choose "Undelete".
  • 5 Your voice message will now be sent back to the main list of current voice mail messages.
  • 6 Repeat steps 1-5 for "each" message you wish to recover. This may take time!

    VOICEMAIL iCON ALWAYS DISPLAYED

Your provider can remove the voicemail icon on you screen but you have to contact them of course. Sometimes what happens is the voicemail is exited improperly and what you'll need to do it get back into your voicemail and follow the prompts to exit the system (I believe it is the star button to exit voicemail). What I would do is leave yourself a message, call into your voicemail, delete the message and exit the system. If icon is still on the screen then you have no choice but to contact provider. Good luck and hope this helped.

Voicemail icon is blinking and I have no messages

Aftre checking twice to ensure I truly had no remaining phone/text/etc. messages (i.e. not initially trusting the "you have no voicemail" lady), I still had the blinking Voicemail Icon on my Verizon (Casio) GzOne Boulder. I turned it off and on, and it simply went away. Reboots triumph again. Since most of us leave our phones on 24/7, betting many don't try a repower/reboot. This is also way less risky than having some new Tech Support person mess with your account ("remove voicemail and put it back on", per the above comment). Until they have less buggy software/firmware, simply reboot.

    Voice Message Icon always displaying

The voice mail symbol is sent to your handset by the network when you get a voicemail, they then send the handset another message to remove the icon once you have listened to the voicemail... Sometimes an error occurs and the phone doesnt receive the removal message...

Try getting a friend or using another phone send yourself a voicemail, then using your phone, check your voicemails, listen to the one you have and delete it... The icon should go... However if its a hardware fault with the handset display then this will not fix it...

    Voicemail icon won't go away.

I've had the same problem as well. I made sure no messages were there, then called and left myself a message from another phone. I went in and listened to the message and waited till the option to delete came on and for the indication there were no more messages. Icon was gone.
