It is impossible to fix/clean the key contacts.
The best solution is to replace the keyboard.
Check out this WEB site for keyboard replacement.

SOURCE: keys sticking

Depending on how hard it is to remove your laptop keyboard (be careful, don't do this if you don't know how, some laptops are easier than others) you might be able to take the whole keyboard off (not just individual keys). If you can do this, you could try holding it underwater for a few moments, pressing keys and getting them to "unstick." I know normal desktop keyboards you can just throw in the dishwasher (on gentle, if you have it) but that will ruin your laptop... If it's a popular laptop you might be able to pickup an extra keyboard on ebay or something, but you'd have to know how to replace the keyboard. I guess you could take it to the nearest laptop repair place and see how cheap you could get them to do it. =\

How the heck do I take apart an adding machine. Something got spilled on they keys and now they are sticking.

I'm as clueless as you are on this, but my best guess would be to look for screws under the rubber feet.

Considering it's replacement cost, you may not want to spend more than an hour or so on a cleanup attempt.

When typing on keys it put multiple letters

The keys are sticking. Has something been spilled on it? Try these things:

Compressed air under the keys.

A blunt thin knife to jiggle keys slightly, be careful.

A damp cloth.

Key stuck on (keys are loose, not actually stuck) but works ok with external keyboard

There's more than likely something sticky in your keyboard, someone probably spilled liquid in there and now it's sticking as though your pressing even though you aren't.
A new keyboard will fix this problem.

Keys sticking from spill on keyboard.

Here's a little trick I have learned, from being the type of person that would cause a spill, and guessing that it was something sugary, that is the reason it is sticking, to fix this, get a clean, lint free rag and get some rubbing alcohol and dab just a little on the rag then wipe it across the keybord, pressing down on the keys so it can get down to the bottom of the keys. Do this as many times as it takes to wipe the entire area covered by keys.

If they are sticking due to perhaps something being spilled, spray a little WD-40 in them(key off) and work back and forth until they work loose. This really should take care of it. Let me know if you need anything else.

My son has spilt coke on the laptop 1 key not working O

If you spill drinks on a keyboard, something is bound to break, and apparantly only the O key did... The only way to fix it is to get a new keyboard, I'm sorry. I hope this helps, Yannick.

Saitek Eclipse II keys are sticking

You can remove the screws on the back and clean the keyboard. It's very easy task to do. Just remember components locations inside so you can reassemble.
