What does the transmission oil pressure meter says? is it on green?
Does it not move on any gear?
This tractor does not have a common clutch, it only uses the four clutches in the powershift.

Clutch is maybe shot. Maybe low on tranny fluid. Make sure brakes aren't locked on. Wiggle the shifter levers as it maynot be engaging. This tractor if I am correct is an old tractor. Case tractors of this era never were very dependable as far as I am concerned. It might be the reason the tractor was sold in the first place. Hope it helps

Case 1370, rt rear wheel locks up, let sit awhile it will turn ok for 20/30 yards than lock up again

Not sure about your Case tractor but a friend has a fairly old Case tractor that is fitted with hub reduction gearboxes. These are used to reduce the amount of torque the driveline needs to transmit meaning lighter and cheaper gearboxes, differentials and driveshafts, though it does mean inside each hub is a fairly complex epicyclic gear train that can and does sometimes cause problems.

I suggest you do some research and then pull it apart and take a look inside. If the problem is not in the hub it is likely to be something like the differential side bearing, etc.

Where are the transmission filters located on a 1370 case tractor

The filters are located behind the engine under the clutch housing. It is an hour glass shape cover about 1 1/2 inch thick with six 3/8 bolts .Be careful it is heavy , will loose about 2 gallons oil.

How many HP?

* If your yard is up to an acre in size, the ideal cutting width is 30-42" (76-106cm). To avoid being underpowered, or putting too much strain on the engine, make sure your mower or tractor offers a minimum 14 horsepower. Riding mowers are the most commonly purchased for lawns this size. * For a yard that is between one and three acres, you’ll reduce your mowing time with a cutting width of 42-46" (106-116cm) and a strong engine up to 16 HP. Typically people purchase lawn tractors for yards of this size. * If you’re mowing more than three acres, you’ll need to look at the garden tractors, with cutting widths up to 54" (137cm) and at least an 18 HP engine, preferably bigger.
