Hi.SHORT CIRCUIT MIGHT HAPPEN I THE HEATER.IC'S MIGHT HAVE BEEN DAMAGE.or short circuited.you may try to check it using a multitetster.Set it to ohms .and check continuity of the circuit.If pointer goes rapidly more than its maximum then there is short circuit in the heater.hope this helps..
