My Delonghi F-895 Deep Fryer is not heating because the Thermal Safety Device (in series with the Heater Element) is open/faulty. This happened when the Deep Fryer was turned on without oil in it. My microwave is working but not heating

follow this next step with the vom, and fix it. God bless you

  1. Check the power diodeThis electronic component is responsible for transmitting current in one direction. If the diode becomes defective it will cause your microwave to not heat. Test the diode and replace it if necessary.
  2. High voltage capacitorResponsible for storing electricity, this part is a key component in any microwave. Remove, discharge, and test the capacitor to determine if it requires replacement.
  3. Damaged magnetronResponsible for generating waves and producing heat. When your microwave is no longer heating properly, replacement will be required.
  4. Thermal CutoffsExamine the thermal cutoffs on both the magnetron and the oven itself. Take off one of the leads and using a volt-ohm meter on RX1, check the terminals. If you get a result other than zero, replace the thermal cutoffs.

It is a rival 4.5l. the heating element does not work anymore. need to replace it.

If I read the title it say PROBLEM WITH THE MICROWAVE, on the other hand when I Google the Rival 4.5L it is a deep fryer?!?!?, now if you'r talking about a Microwave oven there is NO heating element, what produces the heat is called a MAGNETRON... it can be replaced but it's cheaper to buy a new oven. Now if you'r talking about a deep fryer, you are correct there is an element inside the unit but as for it's replacement you need to check if it is servicable, some models are riveted meaning you can not disasemble it without braking the rivets... if you finally get it appart check the element for a part number if it has one than it's just a matter of calling a near by applayance store and order it (it would be even better to show the element to the clirk) than again the element could cost as mutch as a new fryer...

The circuit breaker continues to blow off. I believe this occurs when the heating element is activated. I have replaced the heating element. The problem persists. The isolator bushings seemed to be OK....

13402 coffee maker. switch light on and fuse ok. no loose connections. no heat in hot plate. not siphoning water from tank

Appears heating element is open circuited ,if resistance meeter is used between active and nuetral and resistance higher than 100 ohm indicates open circuit in element as indicator light should be in parallel with the element .The problem could also be caused by either over temperature safety thermostat which may have to be replaced if it is not reseteable or the thermostat itself is faulty.
Get someone with electrical expertize to check these

Breville bdf deep fryer keeps tripping out /turning off have to push reset buttons to get it started again after having to wait 10 mins to reset

That sounds like either a faulty thermal trip, or a faulty overheating fryer.
Is it clean around the element because if not the heat will build up, much like the fur on a kettle and cause the element to overheat.
Hope this helps.

I recently bought a breville deep fryer model DFY80 and it doesnt seem to work, but it doesnt have any oil in it yet. So i was wondering if i need to put oil in it before the lights and thermostate work??...

there is a reset button on the back of the element box try that and there is a switch when you slide the element into the frame make sure that it is making contact .hope this fixes your problem. dave.

My coffee pot quit working. it turns on but doesnt warm up or start brewing. how do i fix it

Either the heating element is open, the thermostat is open, or the overheat fuse has popped. You can probably replace the pot for what it will cost to repair it. Good luck!
