Still no internet access from the EAP-3660 Access Point when connecting the wireless to the laptop.

Checked the laptop with another wireless connection and that worked, so it doesn't appear to be on the laptop end.

EAP-3660 connects wirelessly to the laptop and have network access, just no internet.

Have tried with WEP, have tried with WPA, no security/open without any luck.

The EnGenius is wired to my PC and the ip for this is set at with a sub of

When i changed the TCP/IPv4 to automatic IP, i can no longer access the web device portal when doing this.

Try to set the IP automatically assigned from the IPv4. Then go to the command prompt then type in ipconfig. You should be getting the same IP address when you do this. You mentioned that you are not getting issue with your EnGenius 3660 since your droid can connect to that gadget. Do you have other computer there? Try to check their settings. Especially with the TCP/IP. Other computer should fall with the same IP network which is 192.168.1.x.

Can't log in Engenius EAP-3660 .after rest factory settings.why? can you help me pls

You don't seem to understand what an Access Point is.

an AP is used to extend your wireless range and will connect to your routericon1.png to provide network and internet access. An AP by itself cannot connect to the ISP since it does not use a WAN port

a router is an AP that will allow you to connect to your ISP for internet connection. A router can be configured to work as an AP but a AP cannot function as a router.

Read the manual. When you reset the AP the IP of the AP device became
That means you need to set the IP address of your computer to 192.168.1.x where x is anything from 253-2 and the subnet mask to

No internet

I had exactly the same problem with my EnGenius ENS202EXT. I was trying to set up an Access Point, hard wired to a FAST1704N V1.0 Router/Modem from Windstream communications.

I spent 2 days trying/altering as many different combination settings as possible, on the Engenius. It turned out in the end that I had alter an unnecessary setting in the Fast1704 modem/router. After I reset the modem to factory settings everything worked beautifully. I have great coverage and higher speeds than I ever had before.

Note: in addition to the fact that internet would not pass through to the Access Point I was trying to set up, neither would the FAST1704N V1. show up on the internal network. I could not find or communicate to the FAST1704N V1. through my own network until I reset my modem/router. After resetting the modem and getting internet through the AP, I went back an readjusted the critical settings in the modem. Everything working great.

Engenius eap-3660 access points channels chashing.

This is a massive and expensive network, which appears to require a full signal and configuration audit. It's quite possible that many of your problems are stemming from the APs you have already deployed being situated in suboptimal and conflicting locations, which is an issue with three-dimensional wireless networks.
I really don't see your problems being debugged by anyone short of an experienced on-site wireless network technician. I'm saying this as a person who tuns a one-man company serving two rural communities with wireless internet service.

I set up the Engenius EAP as a repeater and can connect to it with my lpatop and Iphone. When I try to connect another laptop I have excelletnt connectivity reception, but Internet Explorer cannot display...

Signal is only one part of the complete connectivity problem. Your lack of connectivity is almost certainly due to some other component, such as your second laptop having an incompatible static IP address specified, or no DNS servers specified.
First, ensure your PC is configured for a dynamic IP address. Once you have acquired good signal and connected, check to see that you have received a dynamic IP address. If that works, open IE and type in the numeric IP address if your EPA repeater. If you get a response, the problem is not your wireless connection or local IP address. Now type in the IP address . If you get a response, your problem is that you have no DNS servers specified.
