Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
There's likely an issue with the optical drive in the unit. The most common reason for read failure is a dirty lens. Your best bet is to get a can of compressed air and direct it into the PS3 and try to blast any dust and such off the lens. It's located where the disc tray would be if it were closed.
