Sometimes the brick will overheat...i had the same problem, and i put it in a better ventilated area, unplugged it for a few hours, and then i was good. it sucks so hard to have to wait several hours, though...i was so antsy!

are you sure its not yellow try moveing wall sockets better yet hit the disk tray button if the brick cant supply enogh power it will then turn red or yellow if it stays orange it in stanby witch means it could be many problems if the system cant get enogh power to turn on it will show the 3 red rings but if the brick does change the brick is done
What colour is the light on your power brick when it will not turn on? if its red thats your problem, turn it off and let it cool, remove any dust and make sure its well ventilated, if the light still goes red, you need to try another power brick.
When the Xbox 360 power supply light is orange or yellow this means there is no problem with your console but the power supply can't supply it with power.
To remedy this problem, first try unplugging the Xbox 360 power supply from the console and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. You'll also want to uplug the Xbox 360 power supply from the power cord.
Wait for about five minutes and then reconnect everything. You might also want to try plugging it into another wall outlet without an extension cord.
If you are still getting an orange or yellow indicator light, then something is at fault with the Xbox 360 power supply. If this is the case, contact the Xbox 360 customer support to get a new one. Hope this helps you out! Don't forget to rate me :)

i dont believe this is a bricked issue. it cold be a short on the board or wiring some where inside. this noticable if it works after you lightly tap it like mine. but once it comes on it usally will stay on tapping a briked psp does nothing.
Duke, take a look at the big 'powerbrick' that powers your xbox, on the front of it there will be a small LED, it should be red/orange if your xbox is turned off. If you see NO LED light then your powerbrick is no longer functioning.
If you DO see a LED, then its likley the Xbox is at fault.
Open the battery compartment, and remove the battery. Look at the bottom inside corner for a little square sticker with has marks on it. is it dark or light, If it is dark, your PSP has come in contact with moisture. I suspect that your PSP has gotten wet or damp. If the sticker is dark, you need to keep your battery out for about 2 days, and keep the UMD door open and the whole PSP kept in a dry environment. Try it after 2 days of drying to see if it is recovered. Good luck Gohan....
