Hi this could be down to many problems such as 1 liquid damage beneath keys 2 mother board damaged by liquid 3 drivers missing will need to be installed
solution 1 remove covering from around keypad ,remove the keys that have no response and clean with earbud you can use very sparingly some metalated spirits wipe clean with clean earbud if still no response with keys its more than likely the drivers so all you have to do then is look them up on the net and download them ,hope this was of some help ...

Computer doesn't recognize ez eyes keyboard

unplug the keyboard, go to the manufacturers website and download and install the drivers, plug the keyboard back in.

If that doesn't work

check your device manager and see what keyboards are in the keyboard section. delete anything but the hid keyboard device and the standard ps2/2 keyboard from the keyboard section. repeat the first set of instructions

if that doesn't work either

take the keyboard back it is most likely faulty

My keyboard is not working

Possible that the keyboard interface IC , the membrane connection, the connectors are faulty.
You can remove the keyboard section if you are versed with removing such delicate sections, clean , and replace . if not the errors are in the failure of the interface IC.

My keyboard is not working i think its not installed are something my space bar and other keys works but the letters and numbers won't help

you might want to go to start then control panel and go to keyboard and check the settings and make sure there are set correctly. If that is not the problem you might want to check the drivers and update them by going to start then right click on my computer and go to properties then click on device manager and look for the keyboard section click on the + sign and expand the section select the keyboard and right click and then select update driver.

Hope that helps.

HP DV 2000 keyboard not responding on all keys. Laptop is 2 years old. Tried all usual remedies including keyboard replacement. Works on a USB plug in keyboard. Any ideas please

If a section of keys isn't working at all, you'll likely need a new keyboard.  If the problem is with IOPUJKL:M keys you may have the Numlock on.
