Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
It's my acer travelmate 4000. I switch my laptop on, type in my password to log in, and a box appears telling me:
"The application failed to initialize properly (then some random numbers in brackets). Click OK to terminate the application."
Whether I press OK, cross it off or leave it it goes to a blank white screen and does nothing more. I can't do anything.
What do i do? Help!
Other websites reccommended I run the laptop in safe mode (and other modes) and remove the battery/memory and then place it back in and try again, neither of which have made any differecne at all. Others have told me to download antispyware, etc but I can't do this as I can't even get past the log in.
PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!
A good solution would be to just chuck your recovery disk or windows disk into the drive and set your bios to let you load from disk. this can usually be done by presdsing f12 with the disk in the drive on startup.but it has to be in from the start or it wont work. if you dont have the disk you should find a windows xp disk on www.thpiratebay.net and if you need any drivers for it once you have done so then you can download them at http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html
any other problems dont hesitate to email me on email@example.com
btw i live in england so i might not reply strair away.
now im gonna go for a cup of tea and a scone

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
